PHA 3% + Biotic Toner

Have been a minimalist fan for the longest time. However tried their toner for the first time. The preliminary usage feels good, it isn't sticky however the bottle is inconvenient to use, considering it's a thin liquid it tends to over pour from the relatively big opening of the bottle.

I was looking for a pha toner for a really long time since I have dry and sensetive skin and AHAs and BHAs are kinda harsh on my skin. Also PHA is a great form of exfoliator for skin of colour as we are very prone to burns and marks due to high melanin production in our skin+ it takes some time to get rid of marks or pigmentation on our skin. (Info- how to check if you fall in the category of skin of colour or not? If you tan easily then you fall under the category of skin of colour and if you get red easily then you will under the category of white) Texture- watery Feel- once you apply it.It leaves your skin kinda moist, hyderated and smooth I'd say.It also looks watery but once you apply it, it feels like you applied a viscous toner. Final thoughts- as I said I'll be updating the review after using it for a month am a very stingy when it comes to skincare so here is the thing my mom and I have been using it on a daily basis for 1month.My skin has been loving it since then. I haven't yet faced any problem with this.Toners are not an essential step to the skin care I cannot say that I have seen a huge difference in my skin but this has been a blessing for my dry skin. Sometimes even the gentelest cleanser dry's out my skin but this provides a very good first step hyderation to my skin. I am also very sensitive to smell this product has no additional fragrance but once you take it out on your hand and try to smell you.It has a very mild smell somewhat chemically but once you apply it their is no smell. Cons- I kinda don't like the packaging I think it could've been better it doesn't looks very travel friendly But overall I like this proudct 👍❤️

This is my updated review. I have been using this toner since month now. And iam capable of saying my exact review. I use tgis toner everyday at night and some times in the morning too. At first use i felt this as sticky on my face. But that continued. It made by oily skin even more oily and sticky which made my skin dull. Also it is very mild so don't expect much exfoliated feel afterwards. I just feel like this is just a hydrating toner In my opinion this will be good for dry skin and normal skin but not for oily skin. Also if you are looking for a great Exfoliating toner then it's not for you because this will only give mild for Mildest exfoliation feel. So this is my opinion I will rather not re purchase or recommend it to oily skin people

It pairs well with other minimalist products. I have the retinol and vitamin c serums and this toner is a good base. It doesn't have a strong scent but it smells a bit funky. It gives a the skin a good healthy glow and is very easy to use. Three or four drops after proper cleansing have helped improve my skin. But as pha is an exfoliant, too much use could cause breakout and damage to your skin barrier. I am quite satisfied with the results and I would definitely repurchase.
