exclusive silver double vinyl. ‘Intruder’ is Numan’s 18th solo studio album and follows 2017’s ‘Savage: Songs From A Broken World’, which became his highest charting set in almost forty years when it debuted at #2 on the Official Albums Chart. That commercial success was complemented with wide-reaching critical acclaim from Mojo, The Quietus, PopMatters and more. Whereas ‘Savage’ depicted earth as a barren wasteland in which humanity and culture had been largely crushed by the effects of global warming, ‘Intruder’ presents a fresh but complementary narrative. It’s a philosophical examination of a potential future apocalypse: the planet can only survive by purging its inhabitants. ‘Intruder’ was recorded between sessions at Numan’s home studio in Los Angeles and at producer Ade Fenton’s studio in Bath. It represents their fifth studio album together after ‘Jagged’ (2006), ‘Dead Sun Rising’ (2011), ‘Splinter (Songs From A Broken Mind)’ (2013) and ‘Savage (Songs From A Broken World)’ (2017). Since coming to prominence with era-defining hits such as ‘Cars’ and ‘Are ‘Friends’ Electric?’ (with Tubeway Army), Gary Numan has remained consistently creative and released a huge catalogue of work. His impact on electronic and alternative music has been hailed by pioneers such as Prince, David Bowie and Nine Inch Nails and remains impactful today, with Kanye West and Lady Gaga both crediting him as an influence. He was rewarded with the prestigious Inspiration Award at the Ivor Novellos in 2017 and shared his remarkable story with 2020’s candid autobiography ‘(R)evolution’.

Your ears will thank you for buying this
First of all, read some people having problems with their albums, mine turned up in perfect nick, no problems with sound qualityAnother great LP from Gary Numan , a real grower on me, really liked it, played it twice straight off the bat, enjoyed it more the second time, probably enjoy it even more the third etc

Gets better the more you listen
I have given my opinion on the music on my CD purchase, so won’t repeat that here. Mine came packaged well so I don’t have that complaint other have reported.Love the album and it really does get better the more you listen - it’s not as immediate as the last album in my opinion. The only thing I nearly took stars off for is the album text, which is barely visible even with my glasses on. Not going to take stars away for that though as it really is a great album if you give it some time and and actively listen to its lovely sound laden layers.

Amazing!
Been a fan since 79 and can honestly say this album is amazing. Has so many nuances to his 80's stuff but still fresh and contemporySo many good tracks it's hard to pick a best one!I got the Silver vinyl, which is fine, some surface noise but all OK. It was well packaged as a few people look like there's was damaged in transit. However, best way to hear this album is High res via Amazon music. You wont believe how good it sounds! So play at maximum volume and listen to the God of synths. Mr Gary Numan.

Love the album, but.....
Fantastic album, highly recommended. My record was delivered in a box not some flimsy plastic like a few reviews on here. Just one question though....as a prime member every record I have purchased from Amazon has been automatically added to my music library digitally. This one hasn't. Any reason for this Amazon?

Numan magic.
Superb new music from the legend that is Gary Numan. Every track is fantastic and in the days when so much new music is rubbish it's great to be able to purchase some quality!!! Thanks Mr.Numan... hears to your next.

Dark and moody.
I really liked this album, looks great in the grey vinyl. It's quite a dark and moddy album but Numan has been like this for quite a few albums now. Nearly all tracks are a decent length. 9/10 really enjoyed it.
