Size is best for a 5/6 year old (longer on my 4 year old). Material is your basic, thin, polyester mesh, and is very cheap feeling. But he wears it so whatever i guess.

Accurate size, well made.
The costumes are well made. Light weight material. But not too thin. Nice value for the money I paid. Grandsons are so happy.
