This housing is far more stiff than other stuff I've used. It was a bit more difficult to install but not too bad. Just a little more electrical tape under my bar tape to keep everything in place and it was fine. I've had it for about a year now and I haven't had any issues post install. The increase in braking power is very noticeable. I'll never go back to standard brake housing again. I may try another compressionless housing, but this one works fine. This stuff plus BB7s is all I'll ever need for my gravel/adventure rig

With a gradual bend, this cable set will improve the smoothness of the shifting and breaking.

These cables are fantastic. Just beware, the brake housings are very stiff. It's best to cut them with a Dremel or grinder. I think cutters would crush them. It was a bit of a challenge to route them, but the brake feel is fantastic.

Cables are stiff with no compression housing. Much thicker than standard shimano cables.
