Converted r12 to r152a with is. It works, so far.
I have 2 cans of R12 left but lost 2 overnight to a leak. Time for Ultra-Duster (R152a). R12 uses mineral oil, R152a needs PAG oil, so I thought. Google said 2 oz. of ester oil would make the mineral oil "co-solvent". It's an end-of-life truck so, ok- try it. It works; the compressor has 200 miles on this mixture and blows 40*F. And the dye showed my low-side schrader valve to be the leak. You need a special tool (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F9K4XGX) to add it.

Works just like the non die oil. I'm not sure why it was double the price just because it has die in it, but other than I guess it's fine.

I didn't read the description very clear. That's my fault. I've been using this for years. I use this instead of PAG Oil. I like the fact that the dye is already in the oil. A+
