Bloody Mary Fake Scab Blood

Scab blood is one of my go-to fx products. I adore Ben Nye scab blood but it is incredibly difficult to source in the UK and ridiculously expensive when you manage to find it!This year I ran out of my Ben Nye scab blood early October (complete disaster & so close to halloween I wanted to cry!) so I brought this as a quick replacement!Although it did the job it was a little runny on application and dried out very quickly. Unfortunately when it dried it dried so fast it crumbled off! For this reason I have given it 3 stars.Having said that, the delivery was very fast and the product stayed put long enough to snap a couple of pics before I headed off out and it all crumble off!

Looks cool. Haven't tried it yet. Hoping it'll work well for my cosplay.

This product was recommended in a YouTube video on how to apply fake wounds. It is a small jar, however if you are just using it for fake cuts here and there, you’ll have it for quite a while! It’s not intended to pour on your body as if you’ve been doused in a bucket of blood *gross*You should use a very fine paint brush if applying in a fake wound. My son didn’t think I used enough and painted his entire wound which I guess works if you are going for more of a chunky wound vs a cut. While it doesn’t end up looking drippy, it does look like you have a deep wound with blood clotting. It’s a perfect color and easy to work with!Pic is of my son after he added more since what I did was not gory enough according to him.

When I got it did have a seal on it, and wasn’t cracked or busted! The consistency is great and you don’t need a lot, so it’s definitely enough even in that small jar. I’m so used to using just fake blood and home made thick blood but this is very nice to use to fill in fake cuts with!!

This is way too expensive for something so freaking tiny! Waste of $$
