Brings the feel of a laptop to your desktop computer
This product meets the expectations outlined in the description. The scissor keys provide a comfortable and effortless typing experience. The black generic look of the keyboard also gives it a professional (non-distracting) look that is suitable for most office environments. The keyboard is a bit shorter than most full-sized keyboards that I have encountered since there is no prominent space between the row of F keys and the row of number keys. So, it's slightly easier to accidentally touch an F key when using the row of numbers. The board is also made from plastic, so it's a bit on the lighter side and has a bit of flex. The manual also states that the maximum operating temperature of the board is 40C. So, the board is only suitable for temperate climates. I assume all of this is due to its plastic (ABS) construction, but at this price point, all of these downsides are to be expected. Overall, this board has exceeded the quality and feel of more expensive keyboards that I have ownedโincluding the one that I have just replaced.

I love this Perixx USB C wired keyboard for my Mac mini.
I love this Perixx USB C wired keyboard for my Mac mini. The price is great and the thing works well. The design is simple and easy to use. If you were wondering, It does not have key backlights. I am using this as a second option, after using a bluetooth keyboard that had some issues connecting during a system reset on my Mac mini. The responsiveness is awesome with the USB wired connectivity. It does not require batteries or charging.

Nice keyboard
I do a lot of typing at night and this requires that I use a quiet keyboard. I've found scissor-key keyboard with a flat laptop style keys to be most comfortable while keeping the noise low. For many years, I've used the Kensington Slim keyboard but needed another keyboard for an additional computer. I saw the Kensington price had increased a bit and thought I give this one a try. This keyboard is built well, responsive, slim, low lying, and looks nice. Just one issue, its not as quiet due to the lightness of the plastic. So when you type on it, there's a bit of a "hollow" sound that accompanies it. The Kensington keyboard on the other hand, is MUCH heavier and has none of the hollow sound to it. If I didn't have the Kensington keyboard to compare to, I would be quite satisfied with this keyboard.

Great keyboard for the price
I used to have an Apple Keyboard, which I had to replace because it wasn't compatible with my new KVM. The Apple Keyboard IMHO is the gold standard when it comes to touch and feel. I was stuck with a crappy, high-profile key keyboard in the interim until this one came. I am more than pleased. It's far quieter than the cheap keyboard that I was stuck using for a while, not quite as quiet as the Apple Keyboard, but feels roughly the same, and for $20, is way more economical than a similarly featured Macally keyboard, which I was tempted to get but didn't. This one definitely fits the bill. I am a software engineer, so I'm on this thing 9-10 hours a day, and it just feels great, really good key response, keys are well-positioned, and I use the number keypad as well, I like that too. Definitely a good buy.

Extremely good feel, and, weirdly, repairability?
So, I've had this keyboard for many months now, and just now bought another. In my own stupidity, I ended up pouring a cleaner into my keyboard when trying to wash it, which seemingly broke the keyboard. I ordered another right away, as honestly, this is the best keyboard I've ever used, has great feel, and overall I love it. In my desperation to play Stalker 2 (which just came out today), I actually ended up breaking the keyboard down to it's base components, even breaking the plastic welds inside which hold the membrane in. I then washed the membrane in my dishwasher with no soap, and put it in my oven to dry at 150 F for 2 hours. After that, the membrane tested that it was working, so I reassembled the keyboard! It's not perfect, I did it rough because honestly I thought it wouldn't work, but it did! Seriously, one of the best keyboards. I fully endorse it!

Perixx Peribord 210 wired keyboard
UPDATE: One of the features that i wanted in this keyboard is the FN-LOCK which allows you to lock in the functions keys so that you do not have to use the 2-key combination. I "thought" that the LED indicator light on the far right above the keyboard was supposed to indicate this combo was in use. Nothing I did would get this indicator light to turn on. Contacted Perixx and through a series of messages found out that the light that I thought worked for the functions was an indicator for SCROLL LOCK (an antiquated idea from IBM). The company has decided that it will reprogram the keyboard so that it works as a Function Lock indicator instead. Keyboards with this feature will be out in about 6 months. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Love this keyboard. This is my 3rd attempt to get a keyboard that I like ...the others were returned. I like a very responsive keyboard ...mushy/sluggish are not acceptable. What I learned by ordering these keyboards is that I like the small, flat, chicklet, scissor-type keyboard which are the type that are on my laptop. I purchased the other two keyboards because folks reviewing said you could fast type - exactly what I am looking for. I did not find that to be true. The common factor is they were mechanical keyboards with the large (thick) old-style keys. (I am not a gamer, so I am not looking to play games with my keyboard. I do documents, genealogy, photo-editing primarily.) Now, I think that the description for this keyboard mentions that it is quiet/silent. If so, I do not find that to be true. I do not have a need for a quiet keyboard - but I understand why others do, especially if they are trying to multi-task and appear attentive while "meeting" online. If that is your situation, you may not want this keyboard (although some of the clacking may be fingernails striking the keys). There are little pips on the F and J home keys, and on the 5 number key. The symbols on the keys are little stickers, but they are very clear/crisp (not fuzzy) and I have no reason to believe they will not stay that way. This is also a "flat" keyboard. It has almost no wedge to it and certainly doesn't have any props on the back of the keyboard to prop it up. If I decide I need this, I will MacGuyver something. The keyboard is lightweight. It remains pretty steady if I place it in my lap to use it. I like that the indicator lights for caps lock, num lock, and function lock are above the number pad.... and I think that I will like that it has a back space by the number pad. I just started using this keyboard today. If my opinion changes, I will update the review. NOTE: I rarely if ever give a 5-star review....so I really have to like this item.

Well it worked until it didnโt!
Bought this product in September, Itโs now December. The keyboard has very unexpectedly stopped working. Iโm doing some troubleshooting and seems to be malfunctioning. I would not recommend purchasing this given that it only lasted three short months. Poor quality, not a good value, broken!

Not quiet at all!
I'm looking for a keyboard that feels like and is quiet like my laptop keyboard. this was not it. the keys are harder to press, so I have to put a little more effort into it and I can't type as easily and smoothly. Also, it's pretty loud, not quiet (attached video). While typing, it feels kind of cheap and not solid, so it sounds like the whole keyboard is rattling as I type. It does not have the little feet underneath it for tilting. I may have missed this in the product description. it's definitely lightweight, slim and low profile if that's what you are looking for. it works and does the job, but not what I wanted.

Good keyboard but faulty
Good keyboard, however mine is faulty and it appears there is no way to contact the manufacturer as the product support link is dead. Worked well for the first 2 weeks, now at random times it will repeat the character "r" for about 10 seconds.

Quiet but not that quiet
It is certainly quieter than most office and gaming keyboards, however, you will still be able to hear some tactile feedback when typing. I have a Dell G15 laptop, it's built-in keyboard is quieter than this Perixx keyboard. Update: Keyboard broke after I wiped it down. Disappointing to say the least.
