Pro Excel Perfect Pancake Maker

We used this product three times. The fourth time full of batter we squeezed the handle and it broke into four pieces. The plexiglass is an Inferior product, and not worth the money.

Good idea poor design. Broke down out of the box. The glue joint area is too small to hold two pieces together especially against the pressure of the spring.

I'm sure it works as it should, but it just isn't for me. It's more of a hassle to use it than just pour from the bowl.

I love making pancakes but I always make such a much and have so much to clean up. This thing is a life saver. I poured the ingredients straight in and mixed it in the pancake maker using the measurements on the side. Using this gives you complete control on how much batter you let out. No more trying to hold the bowl spoon and pour at the same time. I was stirring eggs while pouring another pancake. The construction is solid and found that it does not leak or drip after pouring the batter. Also the pour hole is recessed from the bottom so when you set it down on the counter, there is no mess left behind. The lever on the handle is easy to use with one hand and retracts nicely. The seal around the pour hole appears to be made out of silicone therefore it creates a very good seal and prevents any leaking. It has a lid so you can put any unused batter in the fridge to use the next morning. It also came with 6 silicone cupcake liners. They are very easy to clean and reuse. Clean up was a breeze as it came with its own cleaning sponge. Simple rinse with hot water and run the sponge through it and your done.So if your somebody who like making pancakes but hate the mess it always makes..you will love this product. I will be using this every time I make pancakes or cupcakes now.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. I recently got on a big kick of making cupcakes. I absolutely love experimenting with different flavors, but I kept making a huge mess every time I went to fill the cupcake liners. I tried using a ladle, an ice cream scoop, a spoon, etc but nothing was working right for me. I was beginning to get discouraged until I saw this pancake maker as I was browsing the internet one day. I immediately ordered this product and anxiously awaited its arrival. As soon as it came in I could not wait to make a batch of cupcakes to try it out. I whipped up a batch, poured the batter in and had 24 cupcake liners filled in no time with no mess! This product worked perfectly for me. I was very pleased with the mess free filling that I experienced. The design and material appears to be pretty good quality and I think that as long as I take care of the item it should last for a long time. This little gadget makes dispensing batter so easy! My family was previously using a batter bottle that had to be turned upside down and it was difficult to get the flow to stop.This little beauty dispenses from the bottom, which makes life so much easier! I've used it so far for waffles in our waffle iron and for cupcakes, and it worked wonderfully for both. I don't think it would work for thick batters, however. I'd continue to use a cookie scoop in those instances.I only gave 4 stars because the lever construction doesn't seem super sturdy. I have to push at the very bottom of the lever otherwise it doesn't open. Also, the plastic came very scratched. Not that that keeps the item from functioning, it just doesn't look very nice or new.Ultimately I'd definitely recommend the product!
