Stops hitch movement
I purchased this because the pin hole in my hitch was getting a tiny bit elongated, resulting in a bit of a scary clunk when I took off or braked with the trailer attached. After installing this anti rattle clamp, this all stopped. A bit of a pain to take off and on, as I pull two different trailer with different hitches so change them regularly but worth the hassle.

Simple but it works well
Got tired of the racket noise coming from our drawbar every time we hit a dip in the road or crossed a bridge seam. Decided to get this to keep our drawbar from making that slamming noise every time it moved up and back down (due to required tolerances necessary to allow the drawbar to fit into the receiver). Put this on, tightened it up, and the drawbar and receiver are now a solid piece with no wiggle room to make noise. Well made.

This works very well. It comes with double 3/4 inch nuts that give piece of mind that it won't come undone.It does take a bit of time to take on and off because of the four nuts but a 1/2 drive cordless impact gun makes quick work of it.

This hitch tightener works
Purchase of this hitch tightener is a no brainer. The clamp plate has a 90 degree bend instead of a 45 degree bend like most of the other brands of hitch tightener products. This clamp plate measures 5/16” thickness and its heavy duty. I purchased 2 of this hitch tightener. This product has a stainless steel u-bolt, 4 nuts with Nord washers and the product takes the slack or play between the drawbar and the receiver hitch out by forcing the drawbar to the bottom of the receiver hitch and no more rattle. I painted the U-Bolt black in these pictures. This unit is on my Ranger and I installed the other unit on one of my trucks. I’m here to tell you that it works.
