Manfrotto Advanced Tri-Backpack, Small, Black

I got this bag after several years of a LowePro sling-type bag. With all the gear that I used to carry in it, it got pretty painful with a single strap across the back. I wanted something with two straps, but did not want to sacrifice the convenience of a sling-type bag.This bag addressed both my requirements, plus more. The best part is that you can take it off one shoulder and swing it across to access your camera from the side. Then put it back on so that the weight is distributed across both shoulders.The top compartment is rectangular and opens fully, unlike my previous LowePro which tapered towards the top and had a single flap to open it. It's much easier to access everything from there.There’s a supposed laptop compartment, but it’s too narrow, so don’t expect to fit even a 13” MacBook Air in there. Not gonna happen. But it’s the perfect storage compartment for a tablet and some (folded) documents. There’s a strap along the back that slips over my carry-on luggage perfectly, without swinging down if my bag accidentally topples (like it does when I’m dragging it across the airport and turning corners quickly).

I now have several empty National Geographic camera bags due to this bag. It is the bag of bags, which all other bags aspire to be.Space: there's a lot of it, hope you have a lot of gear. The compartments are excellent sizes and extremely useful. After packing it full with 3 micro 43s cameras, lenses, adapters, sound recorder, microphone, loupe and LCD screen, I though I was S.O.L. for sure with getting my computer into the slot. My doubts we're soon hushed, as it slid right in with no troubles at all. Not sure about other reviewer, anything 13" and under fits well.Build: The overall build quality is subperb. I have no fear of zippers breaking or getting off track. Straps are solid and can be hidden if desired. Only purchase this if your ok with not needing another bag in your life for a long long time.Looks: Logos are minimal, does not scream camera bag and it's black.. Looks good to me.Use: Very functional with several ways to wear, depending on your needs. The top comparment has become the one thing I did not know I needed. If I'm going out with more then 2 lenses, this bag is going with me.Its expensive, compared to common bags, however it is easily worth it. Plan to use it until you hire an assistant to carry it for you.

Ordered the Manfrotto Advanced Tri Backpack Small and Lowepro Slingshot 202AW to make a side-by-side comparison. I needto carry my Canon 70D with 17-55mm lens mounted (with hood reversed) and extra 55-250mm (with hood reversed). Althoughthe Lowepro is a somewhat larger volume bag the Manfrotto holds my gear perfectly. The dividers in the Manfrotto can beplaced anywhere around the inside of the main compartment. This allows customization of the dividers to fit my cameraand spare lens snugly. Also, the dividers can be placed so the spare lens can be removed thru the same opening as thecamera (nice when changing lens). The dividers in the Lowepro must be attached to sewn-in attachments on the inside ofthe main compartment which divides it into equal thirds. With 3 compartments, they were too narrow for my cam withattached lens so the main compartment had to be divided into one space 2/3 wide and one 1/3 wide. This arrangement gavetoo much room for the cam with lens. The Lowepro dividers require the spare lens to be removed by further unzipping themain cover. The padding on the Manfrotto straps is slightly thicker than the Lowepro and the Manfrotto has a nicelypadded carrying handle. With a tripod attached, the Manfrotto's dual straps make carrying less of a strain than theone-strap Lowepro. I found attachment/removal of a tripod using the 2 straps on the Manfrotto easier thanthreading/unthreading one tripod leg thru the Lowepro's nearly too tight lower web. The exterior material on theManfrotto seems more rugged to me than the Lowepro's but the zipper on the Manfrotto can be finicky. Decided to keepthe Manfrotto.

Build quality is really good and very comfortable to carry in any position. The strap to wrap around luggage handles is a god-send, should be standard on all bags from everyone!I bought this to replace my LowePro CompuDaypack, which has seen better days after years of good service, now discontinued and I also wanted something a little larger due to my growing collection of kit.I need to have a large enough bag for my travels, including work trips where I have to carry a laptop, but also want to take my Nikon D300, couple of lenses and other items such as compact camera, iPod, iPad, chargers, flash unit, etc.Laptop pocket is great, as is the camera compartment. The top compartment is a fair size, I place my iPad in here and travel essentials. this section is a bit smaller than the space in the Lowepro, but what I miss most is all of the useful pockets, sleeves and zipped pockets in the Lowepro, these were great for memory cards, batteries, usb sticks, travel documents, business cards and charger cables.There was also a divider in the laptop section of the Lowepro to separate a laptop and iPad or documents, which was really useful, especially at the airport when you need to pull out the laptop.If this Manfrotto bag had a few more such pockets inside to keep bits organised, and was a little more iPad friendly I would have given it 5 stars

J ai magasiné les sacs durant plusieurs heures pour finalement arrêter mon choix sur celui ci.Je cherchais un sac qui ne serait pas trop gros mais qui aurait la capacité de transporter tout ce dont j ai besoin.Dans la partie du bas,avec la configuration d origine des separateurs on peux mettre un boîtier avec un objectif puis 5 objectifs supplémentaires,on peux ajuster les séparateurs selon nos besoin.Dand la partie du haut on peux loger un second boîtier et autres choses.Il y a 2 pochettes latérales où l on peux mettre différentes petites choses ainsi que plusieurs autres petits endroits de rangement.Il y a des straps afin d attacher un trépied au sac et puis une autre chose que j adore c est les 3 façons de porter le sac en modifiant les courroies.En un mot il est génial!Exactement ce que je cherchais 😊

Awesome bag, I can fit two DSLR cameras and a few lenses with no issues. Also the compartment is large enough for the Chargers for the camera and a laptop.

Excelente producto, buena calidad y buenos materiales, a pesar de que es la mediana, no es producto muy grande, es cómodo de llevar. Me cupo una Nikon D750 con un lente kit 24-120 montado. Y aparte otros dos lentes. Un 50mm y un 20mm. Caben bien, aunque del otro lado te cabra un mini tripie. El compartimento superior es bueno, cupo mi iPad, unas pilas, unos filtros, unos paños limpiadores, y sobro algo de espacio. Por fuera tiene dos bolsitas laterales que te sirven para el forro contra la lluvia, y en la otra metí los amarres para portar un tripie. De ahí en fuera no cabe mucho más.Para mi es perfecta, aunque si quieres llevar flashes y más lentes mejor compra la grande.En resumen un excelente producto de calidad, que protege de manera sobrada tu equipo fotográfico.

Spacious bag for mirrorless equipments. I have 3 lenses(28-75, 16-35 f2.8 a-mount, 70-200 f4). All these lenses and sony a7iii fit perfectly in the bag. the total weight is under 4kg. It can also accommodate the filter holder system and a filter pouch. It can carry a travel tripod but not a heavy duty tripod.Its a perfect bag under 10k for travel.
