Easy game changer
I've read tons on calories counting, keto, paleo, etc., but everything seemed like an uphill battle and wasn't sustainable. This book takes small things you can do, that add up to a big change. I had been calorie counting prior to this and felt sapped for energy. I implemented a few of the things the author mentioned, like eating half a plate of veggies with each meal and going for non-processed foods, and counted my calories just for fun, without restricting calories...low and behold, I came in well-under my daily value. Easily. Without feeling sapped for energy. My energy level also leveled out, and I didn't feel deprived. I gave myself a "cheat" day on the weekend, and after 3 days of being on this diet (if you can call it that), I didn't have a craving for pizza, cookies, etc. I didn't even want a cheat day. I also started working out doing things I liked instead of forcing myself to a treadmill I didn't enjoy any more. Definitely give this book a go. It's easy, it took me a day to read, and some things you may already know...but even just a few take aways from this book will be a game changer. Not to mention, the author is a doctor, not just anybody, and his advice is legit. I feel relieved to have found this book!

Really Enjoyed This
This is the first book I've read from this author. I purchased after hearing him being interviewed on a podcast. I order self-help books often but rarely finish them. This one had such good, practical advice and was broken into bite-size bits of information so I wasn't left feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. Definitely recommend.

Useful book, interesting viewpoint
I like that he discusses much more than what to eat or how to exercise. He delves into the emotional aspects of eating too much and eating junk food, which I found helpful.

This should replace all diet books
I need to improve my health but was at a loss of how to do that without restrictive diets, which I have no interest in doing again because it is mentally not good for you and they don’t work long term. But I didn’t know what to do that wasn’t a restrictive diet. This book has the answers I was looking for. It is an easy read that explains the science in easy to understand terms without being too long. There are also actionable changes you can do right now. He also explains how to figure out what you need to change for yourself, everyone is different.

Sensible Weight Loss and Health Advice
I’m a fan of Dr. Chatterjee, so when I heard he had written this book, I had high expectations. This book is filled with easy to understand information and easily-implemented lifestyle changes. No fancy meal plans or restrictive diets here. I’ve been on weight watchers for a few months now, and many of the techniques they encourage were in this book. I highly recommend.

This guy is the kindest most compassionate Doctor. His approach to weight loss explores the deeper causes of weight gain and how to address those causes.

Non Judgmental & Compassionate
Just like Dr Catterjee's previous 3 books, this too is fantastic. I recommend you read this, even if you're not on a weight loss journey. This book literally nourishes your soul.I chose this book in the hope it would help and encourage me to make healthier choices. AND THAT IT DID!It is written in a non judgmental and compassionate way that will really make you want to exercise more effectively, eat better and adopt a healthier sleep pattern. Who wouldn't want that!Really enjoyed reading while up doing night feeds.Also, if you haven't already, go and read The 4 Pillar plan, The Stress Solution and Feel Better In 5 - you'll not be disappointed.
