Ninety-nine times out of one hundred I buy things based on reviews but this time I went for price instead. It's ended up costing me. I needed a bigger sized mail box for parcels I am and will be receiving and thought this one looked okay. There was only one review (a poor one) but I took no notice and went ahead.The lid didn't shut properly when you pushed it down, it didn't stay shut as the magnet isn't close enough to the lid. The inside shelve is crooked when you look at and the bottom had marks on it. Oh, and when I tried to adjust the magnet it fell off. Other than that the box was great. Perverse as it may sound after spending an hour messing around with it, I took more pleasure smashing the thing up than I would have got getting my money back. Honestly, I wish I'd have read this review before I'd wasted my money.

This is easy to install, a bit flimsier than expected but not at all suitable for exterior walls in Irish weather unfortunately. Every letter has been wet through. You also have to close the lid very slowly to ensure it stays closed. If you close it quickly, it re-opens (I have a very patient postie!). I couldn't recommend this - sorry.

For the price of this product I am really disappointed with it. The door doesn't close firmly and I don't think because of that it will be waterproof. For the money the quality is awful.
