Hard to find
These are perfect and are hard to find. Dont always want the brightest bulbs!

No longer made, so expensive IF you can find them...
Sadly these are now banned and longer made, so they're expensive IF you can find them...I dislike the looks of the government mandated light bulbs in my chandelier. It's not the style of fixture that looks good with miniature shades to hide the CFS or LED bulbs; so the bulbs are on constant display. These incandescent bulbs look so much better and (for me) last many years since I don't use my chandelier that often. It's sad that gov mandates have once again taken personal choice away from us.

A plain, ordinary light bulb that works as described. Delivered by Amazon.
These bulbs were exactly as described. I used them in my daughters room. Initially I had a CFL installed but it didn't draw enough power to work with the dimmer that in bought for her room. Replacing it with a traditional soft white incandescent made the dimmer work just fine!Best of all these bulbs were delivered by Amazon Prime!

Not As Good as They Used To Be
I am amending my review because the bulbs I ordered at the end of July 2017 need to be replaced. I ordered these bulbs for my beloved ice cream lamp. For the first time in the history of me owning this lamp, I am replacing a bulb after 7 months of use. The bulbs are supposed to last 1 - 1.4 years. Clearly, GE changed some things about these bulbs. I consider myself more fortunate than one of the other buyers because her bulbs only lasted a couple months. Buyer beware.
