The company made it right
This updates my earlier review: Unlike my other 3 French Amie beak clips that I love, the spring in the faux tortoise shell version gave way apropos of nothing the second time I wore it. Happily, the company immediately replaced it! I'm delighted, because their hair products work so well for me and are attractive to wear. (FYI, I have shoulder length, fine hair that I sweep up or wear in a French twist.)

Slips out of my hair
Item is beautiful, and quality-made. Comes with a protective bag. But it needs teeth! Slips out of my hair in within an hour.

Love this clip
Just what I was looking for to replace older clips in my rotation. Holds my fine hair well either in a topknot, french twist or low bun!
