do you like to eat pan coating
This pan was the worst Ive ever had. The last pan coating fell apart. i ordered a replacement and now all the coating inside the pan is coming off in my food. I will never buy this brand again. Don't ever buy this brand its horrible you'll be sorry when your family is eating the tephlon coating. Spent lot for this pan and it is not worth a penny. Please don't buy this product. All my other pans are the same product and the inside coating is coming off. I would never recommend buying this product ever.

I've used this pan for a couple of years and I love it. I use it all the time to make oatmeal and for re-heating leftovers instead of using the microwave. It usually cleans up with just the sink sprayer, occasionally needs a little help from a brush or sponge. The finish seems tough and durable. I use metal spoons in it without a problem (although I don't use metal for any scraping or rough usage). The lid is great. I like the built-in strainer and I like that I can control the amount of steam venting. The handles are comfortable and provide a good grip.No problems. Pretty near perfect!

Nice pan!
So far so good. First test was rice. I was concerned to see steam escaping from lid BUT rice was perfect! Next test was cream gravy. No sticking. Easy to clean. Nice weight. Will update if necessary.

How did I live without a straining pot all my life??
I am very happy with this product. So happy that I bought a second smaller one. The quality is terrific, the pan is sturdy, food heats evenly and quickly, water boils fast and the pot is well made. The strainer in the lid is a game changer! I love it. It is so handy and great not to have to fuss with colanders or separate strainers when making pasta.

Just an ok pot
Bought this for making poached eggs vs a stainless steel pot. It still sticks, but it's somewhat easier to unstick. Sponges still can't remove the bits of egg white at the end, but unlike stainless, I'm afraid to scrub this thing. I was thinking about getting the 5 quart saute if this worked out, but I see you're not supposed to use much oil, in which case I can't imagine the amount of food that will stick.
