Well written with caveats..
Ms. Burdens draws on years of personal experience to share solar cooking with the novice. Her inclusive and genial style invites the tinker to build, cook and taste. The caveats are with hasty editing. The volume should be gone through again for syntax errors, incomplete sentences, and captions with missing illustrations. With streamlined text and improved photos and diagrams, I would heartily recommend this book. The author is an intelligent, gifted and friendly teacher.Ctw

Informative!
2022 was the year I first learned about solar cooking. I have concerns and was glad to stumble upon this. Great info in this book and a wonderful resource to fall back on...just in case.....

Very practical! Good for kids. Going to try it with aluminum sheeting. Going to try 3 different types of solar stoves.

Easy to use instructions
Clear, concise instructions. Haven't made one yet but plan to use this book to create a solar oven in late spring.

Very Interesting Concept
I have heard about solar ovens in passing. Usually it was discussions about hiking and backpacking. When I saw this book I immediately downloaded it to learn more. This is an interesting subject. Living as I do in a desert area, solar anything is the way to go. I may well begin one of these as my next project.
