This flag is great, breaks down right into the flag-pouch for a small form factor. Sets up and seconds, and lights up for safety on the water. Every time I go out with the flag on my kayak, someone asks about it!I capsized and snapped the bottom pole, but reached out to Yak Attack and they helped me repair it with a kit no problem. Bought this to be more visible on large body’s of water. I fish in big lakes where boaters are always around. This flag is really nice, bright light and I love that it breaks down into a 2 piece so you can store and makes it easy for transport.

Haven't been on the water with this yet (all water here is currently 12" of ice), nor experienced a "close call but the flag and/or light has saved me event". Hopefully, the flag/light will eliminate any possible close calls since it looks well made and works as designed.As soon as the water is open again, this will be a continual addition to the kayak gear. Its small packing size means it won't be a bother to get to/from the water with. There are no excuses that can keep it at home!Buy one for yourself!Why not 5 stars? I can like things but I love my wife!

I like how it breaks down

Unless your kayak is bright orange I would say this is a great investment. The AA battery option for a pretty bright LED is a nice addition to evening fishing and the very noticeable flag is obviously a plus. Easy to break it down and store away in the flag pocket. All around solid purchase

Excellent product. While I see, and agree, that this product is maybe 10-15% overpriced for what it is; its really made well and is well designed and engineered for years of use. One thing I did find special was the flag itself is also the storage pouch for the light & mast. Simple but clever. Sets up i seconds, light works well and either use it in a pole holder or comes with a track mount fitting. Overall very pleased, would recommend it to other, and If I lost it, I'd buy it again. Lastly, this product while sturdy is very light and wouldn't add any significant weight to loading up gear on your Kayak or Canoe.

Broke first time I took it out

Expensive but worth it. Solid build - not cheap plastic. Easily slides in or out of my track system. Light turns on/off easily and it good brightness for being seen in the dark on the water.
