Square Enix Play Arts Kai Jor EL Man of Steel Action Figure

When I opened the window box packaging, my first impression of this figure was: Stunning, Beautiful, Well-made.The details are well-crafted. The paint job is very nice. His face looks like Russell Crowe (this one is subjective). It's faithfully executed. I took it out of the box and checked the articulation and it did not disappoint. You get your standard Play Arts TONS of articulation.Man, I love this figure. I love it. I think it's the most beautiful, most articulated, most well done Jor El figure at this scale.They don't make a lot of Jor El's. Sure there's the hot toys one, but not this uniform. You have the movie masters one, but not as great as this one. This is the only Jor El figure at this scale, detail, articulation and uniform. And it will become very rare.And oh, he's Superman's Dad so he's kind of a big deal. Hah.

To start off, the figure I received is brand new and sealed from a trusted seller. First, the outer box designed is perfect with detailed artwork. When you opened the cover you will see a description of the character on the left side and their role in the movie. The right side is a clear plastic where you can view the figure with all the extra accessories. Overall, I would give this product a five stars rating. For all the collectors wishing to purchase Square Enix Play Arts-Kai products; "There" are bootlegs and knockoffs on Amazon and Ebay. Make sure you buy from the right seller, and make sure the top and bottom "seal" is not broken when you receive the product.

As always the detail is on point and it's a beautiful figure. The only problem is that the cape falls off very easily and the stand (which is flimsy as always with this brand) gets in the way of the cape and makes it fall off, but after you get everything situated he looks amazing as a statue.

I want so bad to like this figure--- but honestly it's just a bit of a let down... Articulation is some of the worst I've seen... Posing your limited to a few poses... Also I was looking forward to a accurate rendition of Russell Crowe---(a little off)--- when you turn his head in certain angles you can kinda see the resemblance, but honestly unless your a die hard fan I would not recommended it... :(
