Because there are a variety on screw joints it takes a while to work out which bit to move. But now I’ve worked it out, I’m happy.

I read all the reviews when i purchased this item and realised the main issues were that the base is not sturdy and you have to be careful with the screw parts. So for the base i useda hack and puta 1.5L waterbottle lying down flat on a corner of the base and then it will not move at all,you can then use any phone large or small with it, and just becareful and unscrew or do up the screws slowly without forcing too much. I use it for my youtube to film food vlogs and its very good :)

Bought this so I could film some overhead art time-lapses for my art page on Instagram and this is perfect! I have a thick desk so I couldn't get one that attaches to the side but this is a great compromise. I've seen a lot of complaints for this type of product that you can see the feet in the video in certain positions but that is expected if you are recording directly down so it doesn't bother me at all, it can easily be hidden. The phone holder fits my iPhone 12 pro max which I was glad about and it very sturdy considering the phone is quite heavy. Would recommend!

Disappointed with how sturdy this item is. It also does not hold the phone strongly enough.

I like this, obviously I read some of the other feedback on this style and was not hoping for much, but if you spend a bit of time getting to grips with all the adjustments that you have available on it, works great, if trying to use it in a position where you don’t want the legs to show in your video just turn them the other was and weight them down with a couple of objects.

This has just arrived with no instructions, bent (does not sit flat on the table) and a part missing that shows in the picture. Going to approach services not holding my breath. Will update you how I get on.

I'd get some gorilla tape if your planning on using this for a heavy phone, some sort of counterweight is needed to keep it from tipping

Base is not stable or secure. No assembly instructions.
