All jokes aside, seeing some of these reviews made me reluctant to buy the brush. After going back and forth about if I wanted to buy it, I finally did because of how cheap it was. It came in a really pretty silver pouch. I immediately went to wash my hair, and then came conditioning. I sectioned my hair (3c/4a) into four. I first combed my hair with a wide tooth comb, conditioner was in. When it came to brushing, it glided so easily down my strands, giving me more definition than even the Denman brush does. The wide tooth didn't detangle a lot for me, but this brush did. If you end up buying it, I recommend combing it with a wide tooth so that your hair doesn't get tangled up in the brush, that would be bad. Overall I'm ditching the Denman because this brush defined better is is not flimsy. With the Denman, I don't feel like I get all of my strands untangled because of the flimsiness. 10/10 Recommend this cheaper, and better quality brush for all naturals!!

I didn't know what to expect with this brush, but I'm glad I decided to try it. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use this brush to detangle my easily tangled hair. I've tried the denman classic and felt like it shredded my hair and ripped it out of my head. The tangle teaser gave me the same impressions, but that was with the original and not the new one for thick and curly hair. This brush is like a Felicia Leatherwood knockoff, and works great for me.

I was skeptical but this brush works better for me than the denam. I have fairly dense 4a/4b hair that I wear mostly in buns or a flat twist for work. After a week I noticed I had way less hair loss, it brushes all the way down to the roots, yet there was almost no hair left in the brush after styling. I didn't think it would make as much difference but the design is golden. It moves with your hair, it works best on wet hair but can detangle dry hair too. I think after continued use, I will have great length retention.

I like this brush... This is the 2nd one that I bought. I gave the other one to my friend who always had problems detangling her hair. She loves it too! It makes detangling my type 4 natural hair so easy. Tangles just slide right out, especially with my conditioner. I may be purchasing more as gifts for my other natural curly friends! Great price too!

I purchased this brush after seeing all the reviews for the Felicia Leatherwood detangler. I wanted to see if it was worth the hype with out wasting my coin so I went with this Brittny professional one. I've seen the brand name in the beauty supply store so I thought it would be decent...WRONG! The brush is very stiff and barely flexes at all. I used this brush one time on a fresh very stretched blowout and it snagged and pulled. The bristles are rough and unfinished which probably contributes to the pulling and snagging. As a type 4 natural, I wont be using this on my wet hair, I'm trying to get to waist length and this ain't it. Save your hair and your coin and go with a better brand, or splurge on that FL detangler. Your hair will thank you for it.

I’ve only tried this product about 2 times since receiving it but it really shocked me!! It detangled my 3c/4a hair sooo easily and got little to no hair loss from the detangling process! I haven’t tried it in the shower & detangling with conditioner but I bet it’ll work out as there as well! I had been in that debate for a long time on buying the Felicia Leatherwood brush and then I came across this one. Same design less money and it does the job. I primarily like this brush because of the open back of it it's low profile is great for when I blow dry my hair and it's also lightweight enough and small enough to get into my hair when I'm doing intricate designs so this brush is a winner!

The shampoo brush has worked well for my family. It seems to be more durable than st first glance...from sudden drops out of my hand to the forceful pull on a random snag. Would buy again as a gift or in need of. Good product for the price.
