I like this because it looks good and I does a wonderful job. It holds enough heat for the cold crops. The fabric is light enough to do the job alone. I used it last year and swore to not grow broccoli cabbages, or cauliflower without it again. It keeps cabbage worms off the plants. Be sure to tuck the edges to keep slugs out. I didn't even use a pesticide on anything that I covered with it.

I ordered this in order to protect my pink jasmine from our very cold temperatures. They are pretty tough plants and do fine when we get an occasional dip in degrees, but at times we get in the low 20s or even lower for 4 or 5 nights in a row and I've lost a number of them for the last 2 years. I used another size of this same frost protection on my agapanthus last year and they sailed through the winter.

I almost lost all my vegetables this past Summer to insects and hail storms. I wanted to find a way to protect my plants while still gardening organically, so I looked into floating row covers and found Agfabric. I decided to purchase their thinnest floating row cover, a 0.55 oz. fabric that would allow maximum light penetration while still affording some protection from the elements. I built support frames for each of my raised beds from 1/2" PVC pipe. I bought a 13x100' roll of covers and divided the roll into four pieces to cover each of my 3 x 8' beds with plenty of extra left over. I attached the covers to the framework using plastic clips. The set-up worked very well. The covers withstood 50 mph winds, rain, snow and ice. The cover did tear around the sharper edges and corners of my beds and the plastic clips because the fabric is so thin, but anything that can stand up that well to west Texas weather I consider durable. A word of caution... The cover is made of thin, woven fabric. I found that it snagged on everything that wasn't super smooth, including my dry fingers, so handle it carefully. I'm sure the thicker fabrics are easier to deal with in this respect. The few holes created by weather were to be expected. I'm looking forward to seeing how the fabric stands up to hail this Spring. Although I did lose my Broccoli and Brussels sprouts seedlings due to a couple of weeks of extremely cold weather, I was able to harvest beautiful Lettuce and Spinach I planted from seed all the way up until December 31 with this fabric!

I didn't plan on buying this much row cover / crop cover fabric, but this was an excellent value for the price, and it arrived very quickly so I can continue with my garden planting and protecting my transplants from the deer in our urban neighborhood. This stuff lasts for years, so I many not need to buy any more for a long, long time.

These are very light, not too sturdy but do the job if you are careful. One of the two I purchased was box cutter sliced in a couple of places BUT the zip bag it was in, was not cut. I am thinking a large lot of these come in a box from China and repackaged from the online seller and there it where it got cut.

When I received the product I was totally satisfied with the weight of product and design. I was looking for something that was not to heavy and would weigh plants down and also still provide the sun with out to much shading.This product works great allows water to go thru and waters p;ants but keeps the beetles away HOORAY!

This product is very light weight and tears. Absolutely worthless for my row coverage.I use clips to anchor the row cover to the hoops. The fabric just splits when I put any pressure on it.Very disappointed. Don't buy this one.
