This special Super Feeder package is offered for the pet owner who wants the flexibility to use/mount the feeder just about any way he/she chooses to fit many custom pet applications. Although it does come with a matched stand and locking special bowl for free-standing indoor use, you may also do away with it by directly mounting this feeder to a cat play-stand, wall, cage, up in the air directing food wherever you want with a pipe or downspout, or any other way you choose. If installed outdoors, you MUST securely mount and protect it accordingly including at least the whole lower end where food comes out and wiring from wild animals. You MUST also keep its standard power supply out of the weather or purchase an outdoor power supply from Super-Feed. Although the feeder is fully weatherproof, its supplied stand and bowl must never be used outdoors unless the whole feeder assembly is fully enclosed in a crate with just the bowl showing or something like that. The feeder comes with a metal bracket and straps to fit perfectly to a piece of lumber like a 2x4 or a pipe. Super-Feed is not responsible for any possible animal damage to the feeder. This model includes the 4 ¾ cups CSF-3 Super Feeder® with a large 1.5 gal. (24 cups) hopper. If you have a locksmith cat when it comes to trying to get food out of the feeder using the dedicated stand, the standard chute cover (protective device) comes installed and will help prevent intrusion! Without the stand, the feeder should be installed close to a bowl or up out of reach of a pet. Although it will pass kibbles up to 5/8 inch diameter, small 1/4 inch spherical kibbles are still recommended for best performance and portion accuracy (repeated exact portion accuracy cannot be guaranteed). You could trigger multiple feeders at one time with one timer using a power strip or dual outlet timer if your pets do not share well!
