## Description

Certified A/C Pro Automotive Air Conditioning UV Leak Detection Kit includes a professional grade, high-intensity true ultraviolet leak detection pen light that works with all types of UV leak detection dyes. Includes yellow tinted glasses and batteries. For detecting leaks in automotive air conditioning systems. Directions: Put batteries into the light by unscrewing light base. On/Off button is located on bottom of light. Add Ultraviolet Light dye to system being tested. Allow UV dye to circulate. Always wear UV safety glasses. Use light to check for leaks.

Review: Total waste of money - Useless item. the spectrum of UV light isnt right so it doesn't illuminate dye. DO NOT BUY
Review: light works but it difficult - I got the kit and put the batteries in. I unscrewed the light end. There is a small spring at the bottom and a larger spring on the light end. So I put the batteries in with the positive end to the bottom. This is wrong , the negative goes to the bottom and positive to the light end. The batteries have to be in good condition also. I also found out that the case is aluminum or some alloy and the screw threads make the connections and they are not good connections. Even on the body of the case I had to press my voltmeter probes very hard onto the metal to get a contact. When I first got the light I could not get it to work so emailed the seller for another one. He sent , so I have two lights. About a year later I tried to use these lights and neither one worked and I put in new batteries in both and neither one worked. I could not remember which way the batteries were supposed to go. So I got my voltmeter and measured the resistance at the switch end. I had to press the probes really hard and made sure both switches were in the "on" position. Then I tried the batteries in both directions and presto both lights work. After playing around for 20 minutes and thinking both lights were bad. The screw connections are not good , there are two on each light and you have to play with these but once the light comes on everything works good. I marked with felt pen + to the light end and - to the switch end.
