Basic in function, excellent in performance
The 90° optics are effective coverage for only a little over half of my standard 10 gallon, I knew it would be this way however it opened up the option for SPS (and definitely LPS) coral in my tank. Plenty of light for my montipora digitatta. I have the light roughly 5" from the waters surface and it's brought amazing color out in all corals under its light. I did however have protopalys a little too high up towards the outskirts of the spotlight area that it started to bleach. I absolutely love the color the light puts out, perfect shade of purple/blue/white. Enough white to see everything normally and just enough blue for zoa colors to pop. Overall 5/5 does exactly what it's designed for.Side notes-Not dimmable (and the ad says this)-It's a 2lb light, that's heavy for a light bulb. Have a good fixture-Fits standard US bulb sockets-After 8 hours on, obviously a little heated but cool enough to touch

You Definitely Get What You Pay For
You definitely get what you pay for. This is one of the pricier Par38 options on Amazon but after trying several other brands and looking at the results, switched to this bulb. I am impressed. The 120 degree spread and 14k full spectrum lighting work really well for my corals. I would definitely recommend this bulb and will be buying again. For reference, I use three 24 watt Par 38s hung approximately six inches above the water surface. The tank is a standard sized 40G with a variety of soft and hard corals.

Pricey and okay
What I dislike about this is that it’s pricer but you can get identical one from a different company for only $35 and it literally grew my corals. I was hoping to make my corals’ color pop and I’m disappointed that it’s almost exactly same as the one I brought for $35.And it does not exceed my expectations especially it’s price tag and the lights itselfWill update once I receive a refund.
