Very happy with this. I ordered one, then I ordered 4 more.I wouldn't use it for heavy tools, but for regular household use, it seems very sturdy. I like that it's clear - helps with organizing. the clasp seems pretty well made.I'm using one for my "home organization toolbox" filled with all the things I use regularly to keep my house organized and make small repairs to the kids toys, etc. - scissors, various kinds of tape, wood glue, super glue, sharpies, labels, velcro, measuring tape, batteries, a couple screw drivers, 3M hooks, etc.I using two for my 7-yr-old son's electronic toys - small drones, walkie talkies, etc - plus batteries, screwdrivers, and spare parts so he can "repair" them himself - just like Luke Skywalker is always repairing his robots - it encourages him to take care of his things and makes it fun.I have another one in the bathroom to keep some toiletries organized and out of reach from the toddler - I can put it on a high shelf and easily take it down when I need something.Just ordered one for my daughter - I'm sure she'll find a good use for it.It would be great for art supplies and school supplies too - but we already have organizers for that.I wish it came in more colors.

This is perfect for what I need. I didn't use this as a toolbox, I use this for a medical kit. It fits everything we need, gauze, bandages, ointments, creams, tweezers, etc. Being a toolbox it is obviously sturdy and I am not worried about it breaking down. I bought this one because of the compact size and because it is clear which makes it easy to locate what you are looking for. We have been using this for about a year and I couldn't be happier. Perfect product. The only other thing I will mention is that mine came in orange rather than yellow. That was a surprise but I like the orange color more anyway but just as an FYI.

I like the look and feel of this box, fairly sturdy with a good weight without being too heavy. I don't feel scared that the thing might burst open as I carry it around. I have a small apartment and I don't need a full size heavy duty monster tool box that I throw around in the backs of trucks and lug around for long periods of time- I can't even name some of the things I've thrown in there. This is the perfect size for my needs.In the tray, I've placed a measuring tape, a multi bit screw driver, a few smaller screw drivers, a small flashlight and some other tool I can't name but I've uploaded a picture to illustrate. I like that there are smaller compartments on top for items like loose screws, etc. My main draw here was that it was see through so I could have a preview of the random collection of items I've thrown in thereOne thing though is that the box I received was actually orange instead of yellow. I don't mind this at all as I prefer orange (it's like Amazon read my mind). If you really care about the color- the site picture is a bit misleading- unless you just get any random color they decide that day.

About a month ago, I bought this for father's day and had my kids decorate it with pen for plastic. The "Homak" sign was in the way so I used a clear nail polish to remove the ink. The kids decorated it, and I sprayed some varnish over it so the kids' drawings will be protected. I was really surprised how none of these things damaged the surface of the box, left no scratch marks or very common for plastics, areas of indentations, discolorations etc. This thing is so strong. Kids dropped it on a stone tile surface and not a single crack. And the extra compartments on the top was a sure plus. I don't understand why 15 inch costs almost twice the price as 12 inch version, but glad we opted for this because 12 inch would have been too short or shallow for some of the tools. I will be getting the same things for kids' tools and arts supplies. It may be a little difficult for a small child to open, but this box is not intended for use for little kids, so five stars from me.

Love the size and quality. Didn't realize how much I'd enjoy the transparency until I started placing tools in it.A very nice pick up and go toolbox for some of my most commonly used tools. No more losing or misplacing tools around the house for those small projects. My large, overly stocked tool boxes are too cumbersome to haul all around the house, but this one is already proving to be super convenient. Great product!

There is a small space in the interior of my RV that I use for small tools and hardware. I was using small cardboard boxes to store the items, but they were awkward to remove so I looked for a toolbox with a handle. This one fits perfectly, and because the handle folds down and out of the way, I bought two of them and stack them. I am totally pleased. Rarely do you find an item that fits the requirements so perfectly. And as a bonus, there is a parts tray in the lid which I hadn't noticed in the ad. and it is perfect for screws and other small hardware bits. The toolbox is very well designed and sturdy enough for my needs.

I bought this box to keep essential tools in my apartment. Since just about the only thing I use tools for is hanging artwork, my tools consist of a hammer, 25' steel tape, torpedo level, utility knife, painter's tape and a Black & Decker Gyro screwdriver. My 7 ounce hammer measures exactly 11.5 inches and it does not fit. The torpedo level fit after I removed it from its protective case. The 25' steel tape seemed to fit until I tried to put the accessory tray in and close the lid. I admit the steel tape is a bulk, heavy duty model but still....a toolbox that is too small to hold a hammer, level, screwdriver, utility knife and measuring tape is pretty worthless. The actual interior measurement of the box is about a half inch less than the exterior measurement because of the way the lip that holds the accessory tray is molded.Visually it is a stylish little box. I just wish it was big enough to put things in. I am going to keep it to corral small items, nails, picture hangers and wire but I am disappointed that a box specifically designed to hold tools is too short for a little hammer used exclusively for picture hanging.
