Best money you can spend for a pellet smoker!!
I have been through three different pellet, smokers continuously, upgrading trying to get more smoke flavor like an offset. Still no luck after spending thousands and thousands of dollars. I’ve also tried several different smoke tubes and trays .. nothing seems to work at all. I recently installed the smoke daddy smoke generator. And it is literally a godsend for smoking on a pellet grill. Extremely easy to use and install. Unlimited amount of smoke and smoke flavor. This will turn in a pellet grill into a real smoker. I thought it was a little pricey at first. But now that it’s installed and I’ve used it on several cooks, it is worth every penny and more! I will never own a Grille again without having one of these installed. Works flawless, and even better than I could’ve ever hoped for. A+++++

Best smoker
We do a lot of cold smoking and have tried several smokers, all of them had the same problem the chips/pallets would compound and the fire would go out, thus the smoke stops, it was a nightmare. Smoke Daddy smokes for hours and hours without any problem, absolutely love it.

Finally some decent smoke flavor on my pellet grill.
Ok so Ive had my new pellet smoker for several months. Its a nice high end one and I spent alot of money so you have high expectations of what its going to do:-) Coming from using my WSM smoker for several years and loving that I thought I would try the new rage of pellet grills. So I get the grill and start smoking. Trying it low and slow, my grill puts out perfect blue smoke all the time. Smoke flavor on food? Eh not really sometimes cant even taste it. Although it cooks like perfection. Then I tried smoker tubes and boxes. Once again not getting the smoke I like. Then Im on every forum asking hey how can I get more smoke(Id say theres over a million links with that very question on pellet grills) Then Id get back hey you dont want that oversmoked taste or you have to refine your pallet blah blah blah. I just want to taste some woody flavor! The problem is no matter what pellet grill your using they just burn to efficiently and the pellets cant really smolder like wood and theres just not enough of it in your grill because its being burned as a heat source. So my quest for smoke flavor continues and I land on some reviews of the Smoke daddy Magnum. Looked like a pretty cool idea and it added the benefit of cold smoking on my grill. Although I was a little nervous to drill in to my expensive grill and after talking to several guys that use them I decided it was worth the risk. So I strategically placed my Magnum where I wanted it and drilled away. Very simple install and set up. Start up was very simple just used some charcoal and a few chunks of wood to get it going a bit then filled it with chips of my choice. This thing was pumping out some serious smoke right away. You then dial it in with the air pump on what you want. My only issue, and why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because my smoker is sealed up tight and so with the fan driving the pellets it causes back pressure so I needed to get a more powerful pump so my burn time isnt as long. So now to flavor. On my very first cook which was chicken thighs all I can say is after my first bite I was like finally there was the flavor I was looking for. Not overbearing just a real nice hint of smokey flavor. It was awesome. I know use it on every cook I do and I love it. I say if you want more flavor go for it your going to get it I promise. Don't listen to those that say hey thats not the right smoke, you can dial it in to get a nice blue wispy smoke. I say get it bbq'ing is a personal thing. As far as build quality this thing is sweet. Very tough and durable. Will last as long as my grill.

Puts that smoked meat flavor that everyone is looking for
I ended up doing a custom install, so I switched the pipe to 3/4" black iron pipe (3/4" black iron couplings don't need washers on the penetration into the BBQ if you use a 1 1/8" hole saw). I just sprayed it with high temp paint on all the exterior pipe parts.First use, I smoked some gouda and a Kielbasa with Hickory wood chips and chunks for 1 1/2 hours (using a small amount of lump charcoal on the bottom to light the fire). It came great ( let the cheese and kielbasa rest for about an hour before trying them). The temps in the smoker I use didn't get over 85F degrees on a 78F degree night (that being said, I also use a convection fan while cold smoking to evenly push the smoke around)

Best one so far but…..
The largest unit promised 2 1/2 hours of smoke time but lack stating which fuel that benchmark was used to get. I did a combination of applewood chips, chunks and pellets as a gap filler. The unit itself. Well built but has some flaws. The top uses a plastic knob which may have well have been metal. Use gloves whatever you do.The bottom used a fence post cap with pre drilled holes. I’m sure some science was used to determine how many and what size. It would have been nice to be able to shutter the amount of air as it may be a little too much intake. I will re work this. The bottom also fell off 2 x while using. So tighten the heck out if those bolts. Also place a bucket of water under the unit if this happens it will cool the cap do you ca re install it and snuffAny embers that could burn you deck or worse start a fire.It could have used a n adjustable bolt of some sort to keep it hanging straight. Once loaded it sags and is no longer straight up and down. Some installations may not have this problem but would be easily fixed. The unit doe provide intense smoke so turn the pump down or you’ll get over smoked meats.I do love the unit after 2 uses and tried everything else. It is hands down the best yet.
