The redwood in this bowl spent several years as top rail on the balustrade on the roof of the Hubbard House here in Mankato, MN. Repairs to the ballustrade left me with these pieces that I glued up with layers of poplar and then split the block diagonaly and glued it back together to create this unique lidded bowl. 6 1/2 inches across and 6 1/4" tall. Danish oil finish.
