Chain Link Fork Gate Latch, Wall Mount Fence Gate Latch with Hole for Padlock (1-5/8" X 1-5/8")

I got these to secure a small 3'x4' chain link gate. These work, but there's a lot of slop in the mechanism, so the gate itself moves about 2-3" if you push/pull it. It's good enough for what I want to do - but if you're looking for something that will firmly hold the gate in place without a lot of give, you may want to look elsewhere.

Made in China. Would have liked a little more product substance and a deeper yoke that receives the vertical gate pipe of the frame. Good for light to medium-duty use though.

Description said would fit opening as small as 1 5/8 inch between wall and gate, they are off by almost 1/2 inch. Ordered 7 and our openings are 1 3/4 inch and the latches will not work. Would have been fine for 2 inch opening.

Works great. Easy to install, very sturdy.

Not very strong

I ordered 2 other fork gate latches and they were not as shown in the pictures.. so I had to return them. This one was perfect, and just as shown in pictures. Fits well as per the specifications mentioned in the product detail
