FlowTec Flexible Shower Head Replacement 60” Hose with Adapter: Stainless Steel/ Standard ½” Connectors

I bought this along with the FlowTec Filtered Shower Head and I'm not too pleased with either.Pros:1. Super easy to install, really straightforward.2. Lightweight, flexible.Cons1. Flimsy and the actual hose leaks, it feels like a phone cord more than a hose. If you stretch out the hose, it leaks, but if you keep it tightened close then it's fine.2. The area of the hose that's closer to the shower head adapter leaks to where there's always water either dripping or spraying out from between the hose.3. Pretty sure the leaking/issues with the hose is a big reason why the pressure of the shower head is so weak.I bought this hose at 14 dollars + the 26 dollar shower head, which totals to 40 dollars. Disappointed in the product for that price. Previously I bought a shower head that came with the hose and adapter from Target for 30 dollars and it was much more durable with no leaks. Too bad I left it at my old apartment.It's too much of a hassle for me to return this because I've already used it so I'll be keeping it as long as it lasts but I don't recommend and will not be repurchasing it.Edit: I turned on my shower for the second time and the entire length of the hose is leaking, not sure how to fix this, will be returning. See pictures. No leaking where the adapter is screwed in, just from the actual hose itself.

I bought this to pair with my flowtec shower head. It pretty much leaked at every connection point as soon as I turned the shower on. I thought it was the actual shower head causing this, so I switched it too an old shower head I had with a higher flow rate. Still leaked at the holster/shower holder, and at the adapter to the actual shower head. The hose is metal and doesn't leak but the adapters at each end DO leak. I noticed that my other shower hose/mount had a rubber gasket included for the adapters. This hose could benefit from that as well IMO. And yes, I tightened all the ports. What I did NOT do is get this item for a significant discount. I paid full price (which wasn't terrible at $10). Everything but the hose was plastic. So if you want a 60" hose and have some rubber gaskets you can donate to the adapters at each end, it would probably work pretty good.

Easy to fit both to hand held and to shower pipe. Arrived when promised. When this thing came in the mail I was worried it would not work well with the shower head I bought. I didn't have any plumber's tape on hand so I just attached it without any. It is lightweight and works really well! I was pleasantly surprised! Have now been using it with the shower head for a couple months or so with no issues.

After being installed for one week, the ring slipped off at the shower head, the metal part. As soon as it did, you could see a white rubber hose inside of it, and it swelled and popped right in front of my eyes, from then forward, water only shoots out of that hole. Had to replace it, got a longer hose, it works much better.

This was listed incorrectly as we wanted a replacement hose for a kitchen faucet by PFister. So when it arrived we had to return it. Also only got $2.28 refund, instead of $14.95 that I paid for this hose. So over, this was NOT a positive experience for me.

This product works as described, but it is cheaply made. They claim there is an adapter that came with the product in order to hang shower head. No such adapter was enclosed.

This was easy to install with the removable shower head we bought from the same company. Took my husband about ten minutes tops.
