Burley Clay Chickadee Bird Bath Set

Mine arrived well packed in thick Styrofoam and tightly bundled, strapped, and secured in its box. It is very, very beautiful and mine has a greenish hue throughout that makes it blend nicely in the garden. Because the base is hollow, I placed two house bricks next to each other vertically and covered them with the base to make it a little steadier. I also glued the top to the base with Liquid Nails as another reviewer recommended. This is a beautiful, quality birdbath and I would hate to lose it to breakage by a cat or raccoon. This is a really nice quality birdbath and worth the money in my opinion. It would be nice if the base was solid on the bottom because then you could fill it with sand to make it heavier, and it would be nice if the top could lock onto the base.

The first birdbath I ordered had to be returned because the top was broken into many pieces. It hadn't been properly attached to the rigid styrofoam that it was in, within the box and it arrived damaged. I quickly advised Amazon, and another one was immediately sent to me, without damage. The broken one was picked up by UPS. So, I was generally pleased with how it was handled. The birdbath itself is very nice, but the picture on the computer makes the body or background of the piece look ivory/beige. In person, it has a bit of a greenish cast to it. It is still a nice piece and I am happy with it so far.

The bird baths pictured was beige in color with only light colors on the detail. Beige was stated in the specs. The birdbaths I received were both painted entirely in green not beige as pictured The "hand painting" advertised was poorly painted birds and a few flowers dabbed with paint. On the second bird bath the flowers were actually dabbed with black paint.I had thought that the first bird bath was sent by mistake so I asked for a replacement. When the second one was the same as the first, I realized that the manufacturer was now supplying a different product.My suggestion to Amazon is that you should contact the manufacturer for an explanation. I feel that the product was misrepresented.I was very disappointed in the product, but as always Amazon handled the problem well.

Absolutely Exquisite! Compliments galore! High-End design. Excellent quality for the price. It was boxed very securely. It was the size and weight expected. The bowl has an built in attachment turn to prevent falling off. The inside of the bowl is glazed with a natural high end look. The stand is adorned with colorful raised 3 D visual images of branches, leaves, and birds which you'll be fortunate to find even at a high end Garden supply!. Stunning for any flower bed, garden or patio!

I Love this bird bath, but haven't had a chance to use it yet. It very well made, and I couldn't be happier that its made in the USA! It looks so pretty sitting out by my flower beds. I am going to need to secure the base to the bowl, because we get high winds being near a lake, but that's not a big deal. I would definitely buy from them again. The bath was packed and protected in the box very well.

This is the perfect size. Doves, goldfinches, Robins, yellow headed blackbirds. Lists of visitors. Stands up well even during bad wind storms.

The Burley Clay Chickadee Bird Bath Set was very well wrapped and is beautiful. I am somewhat concerned about a strong wind blowing the bowl off the stand. So I polan to use velcro tape to fasten it better. I'm sure it needs to be put out of the weather in the winter.

I assumed this came with a plastic locking piece - it didn't. The 1st day out, the lawn guy tipped it over and the bowl cracked in soft dirt. Seems to fragile. Such a cute design but not durable.
