Purchased this vessel to serve as an aquarium for opea ula shrimp. Was hoping for clear glass with regular thickness and few blemishes. Although there are a couple of air bubbles, the are easily overlooked. There are also some subtle verticle lines around the perimeter, top to bottom, but they are also fairly easy to overlook. So for the most part, I'm satisfied that it will suit my needs.One point I would make is that the measurements (6" x 10") aren't quite right, as that should hold a gallon of water with about 2" left at top. However, when I did add a gallon of water, there is about 1/2" of airspace at the top. This means I'll need to adjust my total water volume and recalculate the amount of salt needed for the water.

This high quality glass vase fits perfectly inside my hand thrown and painted Mexican pottery that has a drainage hole. Currently I'm using the vase to house a bamboo that has grown to six feet tall! I've gradually increased the size of the container over four years and the plant has thrived planted only in water and gravel. The glass is thick, heavy, crystal clear, and arrived in perfect shape. You will not be disappointed for any use. It would be perfect to hold a big fat candle, a Betta fish, or a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

They have kind of a rounded bottom on the inside so might not want to use for candles(unless they are floating candles), as they will tilt. Great for long stemmed flowers though!

I could have gotten something same size and shape but much better quality at the local craft store for $6-7, but instead wasted my money with this. $20 for glass with air bubbles, an unlevel top (see photo), and a top half that looks like it twisted off while the glass was still hot? What garbage.

Great for holding my long bamboo plants.

Glass cylinders or "chimneys" for large candles are expensive (and frequently arrive broken, even when packed well.) This "vase" has a sturdy BOTTOM that greatly reinforces the overall strength. It is still glass, of course. I bought two of these to put on mantle and placed glass candle holders (and candles) inside. VERY classy and clean looking!A filled a third large glass vase with long-stem top quality artificial sunflowers... then filled the vase with the large crystal "diamonds" available on Amazon. Makes a "WOW" display that is easy to clean in a bathroom (steamy environment.)

Glass jar itself is not bad. The glass rim has good thickness. But that thickness is not the actual thickness of the jar body. The body itself is thin. So susceptible to cracks and breakage. If glass jar is not packaged and insulated well inside each individual boxes. Any drops or shaking of the boxes can cause damage to the glass jar easily. I bought 6 and all of them had damages when arrived.

I was afraid this would arrive broken because for the price the glass must be thin. NOT AT ALL! This is a very nice thick clear glass vase. I'm very happy with it.

Oh, I was so worried about shipping this!! But it was perfect! Exactly what I needed, so fast and in one piece!!!

Glass item arrived with very little packaging protection and was smashed into many pieces when it arrived. Not only disappointing but a waste of money and a safety hazard.

My husband used these vases to decorate a cake. Turned out the best cake decor ever! Good quality! A little pricey but worth it.
