Just a year later and this high-dollar cover has fallen apart. This despite being on a covered patio that only gets limited morning sun.Meanwhile, the much less expensive CharBroil cover I got for my grill at the same time got much direct sun and still looks new.If this only cost $15, I might be good with buying a new cover every year. But I expected more and this price point.=== Original Review ===The high quality packaging and relatively high price (I paid $47.69) belies the actual quality of this cover.Make no mistake, the “Cover fits 40” Smoker” version I bought fits my 51” TermoTemp XL gas smoker with attached tank beautifully (MB20051316 / MPS 340G). But my concern is with the flimsy material it’s crafted from. I have light jackets with tougher materials.I paid much less for the CharBroil cover on my grill, which is much larger and much heavier duty. I’m going to keep it because of the fit. But I doubt I would have purchased this if I had seen the quality first.

This cover if for a tall smoker with a propane tank or a pellet feeder. It is an unusual shape and size so there aren't a lot of other options for a cover. I've purchased many aftermarket covers for grills, smokers, and fire pits and have generally been happy with the quality. However, this OEM cover from Masterbuilt doesn't fulfill its primary purpose. The seams allow a generous volume of water to come in contact with the smoker. After a single heavy rain the entire drip tray of the smoker was overflowing with rainwater. It's better than nothing I suppose. I will try and buy some waterproof tape to seal the seams from the inside but Masterbuilt should have sealed the seams in the first place.

cover looks nice only issue I had with it was the grommets are not heavy duty enough when I pulled the cord to tighten it to the smoker the grommet fell out before the cord even come close to being tight. I replaced the grommet with a larger grommet and the cover works just fine.

Since Masterbuilt quit making the cover for my particular propane tank smoker, I had to settle for this oversized cover instead. This coupled with the fact that the cover has the company logo printed on the backside makes it surely appear and is a irregular. Material is very cheap and non-durable especially to the sunlight where it cracks and discolors to a lighter shade. Very disappointed and would NOT recommended especially at this price.
