Excellent Cheese Knife
Beautiful styling and it feels comfortable and solid in my hand. It does do an outstanding job of cutting both tomatoes and cheese. I have not yet tried it on particularly hard or soft cheese yet. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Good knife - sharp
Very nice knife. Because of the design, cheese does not stick to it like other knives.

perfect for any tomato
I love this knife. The tiny teeth are perfect to cut the softest fruit of vegetables. A soft tomato don't stand a chance with this knife. instead of relying on a smooth sharp edge that still don't always work well or using a stake knife with large serrated teeth that tear the tomato this has tiny serrates that saw through with ease. this knife is made extremely well and should last at least a lifetime or much longer.

It's ok quality
It's adequate, the cutting of the cheese is adequate, but not very smooth. I kept it!

This knife does exactly as advertised.
This knife doesn’t stick fast to the cheese when sliced. Not Vermont Cheddar that normally crumbles, Brie or other soft cheeses. Plus, it easily slices hard cheese with its sharp serrated edge

Beautiful knife! But useless for cheese and tomatoes
This is a beautiful knife AND it matches the other Hammer Stahl knives that I already own (which is why I bought it in the first place)I have never owned a tomato knife (or cheese knife, for that matter) nor had success using serrated knives on cheese or tomatoes, but I assumed that was simply because I'd never had a "good" cheese or tomato knife.Well, I figured I was going to splurge and get a good tomato knife just in time for our summer tomato bounty and add to my Hammer Stahl collection at the same time. I did NOT want a serrated knife, but it's all they offered. My gut told me to find something else; I did not listen.This knife--straight out of the box--crumbled through a block of cheddar, shredded a chunk of swiss and thoroughly smashed a tomato...Yeah....no. I'll keep it in my knife rack because it sure is pretty and feels solid in my hand--which is why I've given it 3 stars--but, at least for me, it's useless for cutting through tomatoes or cheese.

Fantastic Knife!
The Hammer Stahl 5-inch Cheese and Tomato Knife is everything the seller says it is. I've used it for cheese and tomatoes, and it works beautifully. It's as good as a similar knife (another brand) that a friend paid over $100 for!!! Don't dawdle...buy it!
