THERMOS Novelty Lunch Kit, Star Wars Episode VII Captain Phasma, One Size

I was going to ask for this for Christmas but I just didn't want to wait. Hehe. Yes, this is for an adult and not a child... but I needed something small like this for in the car when my youngest and I are waiting for my oldest to get out of school... or short trips, etc. This ended up looking exactly like the picture (yay!) and is pretty functional. The quality is decent... not as high quality as my kids' lunch bag but this is completely acceptable for what I need it for. I see some other reviews about it not lasting long and I will agree that this is not something that would most likely last long if my child took it to school. Some classes put all of their lunches in a tote so they can be easily grabbed and the kids get to their spots to eat faster. The quality of this is not good enough to withstand children tossing it with items in it, being dropped, etc. I'm not even sure this will withstand my gentle using it so if it doesn't last very long with gentle use I will update this review.Also, this is NOT a "kit" but just the bag. No where in the description does it say that it comes with anything, but the title is a little misleading. All I got was the lunch bag... which was all I was expecting.If the quality of this bag were a little higher, I would have given it 5 stars. However, there are other lunch bags out there that are the same price and much sturdier. This is truly a "novelty" item and should probably be treated as such instead of considered a main lunch bag for a child. So far, though, I'm happy with it as an adult. ;)

My daughter LOVES this lunch box.After first having to endure some "You can't like Star Wars, because you are a girl!"-situations, now she has grown even more confident in what she likes and what other people can or cannot tell her what to do or like.She takes it to school every day, unless she takes the equally cool R2D2 Lunchbox. :-)This lunchbox is a decent size, but not all too big. Its slightly odd shape (compared to most rectangular ones) presents sometimes a challenge and sometimes an advantage, when you try putting certain things in it.We also bought a Rubbermaid Blue Ice sheet of 3x12 little ice packets, that can be cut to size. We've cut off a long strip of 12 packets, that can be bent in their frozen state, and that fits perfectly around the inside of this lunch box.Some people here complained, that the button for the sound stopped working after a few days.That is not my experience. My daughter loves to show off the Darth Vader sound of her lunchbox to fellow 1st Graders and after 3 months it is still working perfectly. In the beginning my daughter thought, she had to press very hard to get the sound to work, but she just wasn't pressing on the right spot. Once I showed her where EXACTLY to press, a gentle press of the button makes the sound - every time.Maybe that is why some kids ruin that button so soon. My daughter, however, knows now how to use it properly and she intends to keep it working for a long time. :-)

This lunch tote by Thermos is well made, and durable enough to be tossed around by my kid each day. My son is 8 and he LOVES it. He has plenty of room for 1 lunchable, 2 drink pouches, a pack of gummies, a 4-6oz water bottle, maybe some chips or cheese itz, and a sweet little note from me, mom. The lunchbox was such a reasonable price as compared to the comparable style but lower quality options at the closest Target store. It’s a Thermos lunch tote , not a Yeti cooler. Please remember that it has some insulation but not much. It’s best for only a few hours storage. Overall, I’m very pleased that my kid is stoked about taking lunches and eating well. Thanks to the seller for fast shipping and a perfectly packaged & licensed Star Wars product !

This is a cool lunch box. Came new ugh tags, and clean HOWEVER .. check the manufacture date. 2016. We are in 2021. The lunchbox was $10 and my son will like it but it does appear to be scuffed or naturally the front has worn a bit. Beware for more picky customers as this is NOT a newly made item although it is new!!

I wanted my son (1 year old) to have a fun lunch bag. This one is great! There is room for 4 small food containers and a bottle and still have some room to spare. If I were to change anything, I would have the double zipper pull on it so you can have it partially open at any portion . I hope that makes sense. Right now there is one zipper pull so if you just want to grab one thing out of it and it happens to be on the side opposite of the zipper pull, you have to open it completely to get that one thing out. As my son gets older and starts to open the bag by himself, I can see this getting completely dumped out pretty frequently. It also does shed some. I guess Wookies do that, though. I just hope he doesn't become prematurely bald. I will probably run it through the washing machine soon because of spilled bottles. If bad things happen when I do this, I will come back and update my review.

Its a really nice lunch bag my daughter loved it i would give it a 5 but I only gave a 4 star because the lights only worked for about two or 3 presses and now it doesn't work she only pushed the button about 2 or 3 times only but other than the lights its a nice lunch box.

My daughter has had this lunchbox since the first day of Second Grade. With her matching Darth Vader back pack, she was the envy of EVERY BOY IN HER CLASS. All the other little girls got jealous because all the boys crowded around her with their little mouths hanging open at the sound of The Dark Lord of the Sith unmistakable respirations. It has held up well considering it is April and I am usually having to buy her a new lunch box for the last few weeks of school. It is not the biggest lunch box out there, but she isn't a big lunch eater, and we don't pack crap like lunchables or cans of soada in it anyway. I just wish it had two zippers. Maybe that keeps it sealed better, but it gets four stars on COOL factor alone. Impressive. Most impressive...

The product being "Out of stock", we've got sent another one of Mario and to be honest it is so much better. I'm glad we got the alternative one, my son loves it even more.Quality looks really good. I'm always worried about the zippers breaking on lunch boxes with a 5 year old, let's see if this one holds.
