Eagletac D25LC2 Clicky MKII CREE XM-L2 U4 LED Flashlight-1480 Lumen with 2x CR123A Batteries

I love this light. Even the minor complaints I have about it can't justify taking away a star. This light's variable brightness give you everything from energy-saving low light for when you need slightly more light for detailed observation/work than ambient light provides, to high-end lumen tactical brightness that can light up an entire room in a blackout when placed on its end-cap.I'm a lumens junky, so I have flashlights up to 3800 lumen. However, most lights I have over 1000 lumens are larger lights, and not suitable for every mode of carry or application. This light has almost 1000 lumens in a pint-sized package that fits comfortably in any pocket, from pants to chest, without taking up much space, or in any nook-and-cranny you might want to discretely/covertly stash a flashlight. It is practically weightless for what it is. Plus, you have the quality of Eagle Tac, which makes any light superior.The only-very minor-complaints are: firstly, it has this slight delay when you turn it on that's only mildly irritating solely because I can't understand why it exist, since no other flashlight I've ever had (and I collect flashlights obsessively) exhibited this characteristic. The other minor complaint is that the tail-switch feels cheap compared to your average Eagle Tac, which, In my opinion, generally have far superior button quality and action compared to your average, even high-end, tail-cap switches.I read a review on another amazon page offering this product say that you could not remove the attached pocket clip. Not true, although it isn't necessarily obvious. You have to find the ring on the body slightly below where you unscrew the tail-cap to insert the battery, and unscrew it to remove the pocket clip, which I did (in less than 30 seconds) since this is my "couch light" I stuff in a fold in the couch cushion, and so obviously don't want the clip to tear the fabric.I have much brighter lights, and even much smaller lights, but I have no flashlight that so perfectly finds the balance between size and brightness. This flashlight would literally be the only flashlight your average person would ever need.

Bought one of these for my son, it was defective. Sent it back and received another one, which is also defective. Would not buy anything from this company. It has been now 3 months since the 1st order which was for his birthday.

Awesome high-lumen light. I own many lights, Eagletac always makes a well built, good quality, great price for the lumen output. Very highly recommended

I have to say I own quite a few high end flashlights and this one is my absolute favorite....it is so small, sturdy and BRIGHT. I love everything about it.
