I thought the front shelves were on the flimsy side, but I don’t think I would trust this side shelf with the weight of a brisket. Maybe some spices and rubs, but not much more. It did come in handy when I was cleaning the grill and needed a palace for the racks.The original handle came in handy. Mounting it on this shelf renders it useless. I will most likely remove the shelf and reattach the handle. maybe a prep table will suit me better.

The extra space adds convenience and it's nice that it folds away for storage. Install is pretty simple, but not as simple as the folding front shelf. Having both shelves is great, but if I could only have one the front shelf would win out.

I'm a big-time weber fan, I love my EX6 but weber could have done a way better job on this end table, it's very flimsy, feels weak, it probably could hold a pork butt, I only use it to hold my beer
