Q: How tall/deep is the ring?

Ring is 3/4 inch deep....perfect for a single egg. I use a small saute pan and there is enough room for a lid.

Q: Can you make 2 eggs at once? Is it big enough?

no it can't fit 2 eggs, it will over flow. I have done 1 1/2 and it works.
