PERFECT fit
The furnace maintenance company charged us $50.00 per 20X25X5 filter for our American Standard furnace. We took a chance on this filter and it fit perfectly and seemed to be sturdier built.With the two pack now we not only have a fresh filter but we have the next one on hand. Great price.....great quality.

A very effective filter
I've used these for a while now, and the testament to their effectiveness lies in how dirty they are when I replace them. Very easy to install, and they give great peace of mind.

Appears To Be As Good As Name Brands
Four stars, because nowhere on the filter does it confirm that this is a MERV 13. I'm assuming that all of the features and specifications that are on the Amazon site are accurate, but it would be nice to have the packaging confirm that the contents are what I paid for. The fit is extremely tight. This may be good, in that there will be no air bypassing the filter. Or this may be not-so-good, because it will be a bear to remove. There have been some complaints that the companion filter is not in a separate container. BUT IT IS. The second filter is shrink-wrapped with light weight plastic film, which will be adequate until the time comes to swap it for the first filter. The whole supporting structure of the filter is pretty flimsy, but greater strength of the support is not necessary. It's there only to maintain the shape of the filter material.

Filter has a lip that conform to the actual size: 19.88" x 24.75" x 4.38" advertised. Therefore the filter fit loosely inside the filter box. This is not shown in the product picture or description. Obviously this is poorly constructed to fit different manufacturers filter box. I would not purchase this filters from FilterBuy again.
