The Secret Social Lives of Reptiles
S**I
Amazingly comprehensive book
If you are interested in learning about reptile behavior, this is THE book to read. To say this book is comprehensive is an understatement (the references section at the end of the book is about 100 pages). Yet the authors make it abundantly clear that humanity has scarce knowledge about reptiles and their social behavior when compared to other animals due, in part to, human biases and the secretive nature of reptiles. This book is written for herpetologists, so it does use some fairly scientific language that may be a bit confusing for those that are just beginning to learn about reptiles (although one can simply look up a term on the internet if one is unsure of its meaning). I cannot recommend this book enough.

A revolutionary book, changes the way we have thought regarding reptile cognition. Interesting and informative and certainly opening new arenas for research.
