Nice chunky pieces to fit in toddlers hands. My 18 month old daughter loves to put the animals in the right spaces. This puzzle is too cute. You can also use the puzzle / animals to teach toddlers about domestic animals, wild animals or use the chunky animals to teach left and right by the direction they are looking in etc. My 3.5 year old also loves to play with the animals just like that, without using the puzzle. Only drawback: There are 16 animals, but only 8 wooden bases to put the animals in. You have to flip them over to match the rest of the other animals. My little one sometimes gets frustrated, if she wants to place an animal, but cannot find the base as its facing down.

Though the animals are well built, the paint on the shark was already chipped when received and within a day of usage almost all have lost colour. Extremely disappointed in such a big well known brand.

Very good..loved the puzzle..my 15 month old can sit with it for 5 min with the puzzle..I allow him to figure out where to fix which animal..expecting him to master it in a months timeMust have for 18 +months

Toddler has been using it since he was around a year old, still today, over a year later the pieces are a little bit chirped but almost perfect and he still plays with the animals!

It's not exactly cheap, but the quality is spot on. Large, solid pieces that fit well in a puzzle. The whole kit has a nice substantial feel to it and unlike many toys of a similar type, that feel says "quality" rather than "cheap".
