Finish Line DRY Teflon

Been looking for this specific product for quite some time. I always end up finding online stores that sell this at a seemingly good price but with quite hefty shipping. I commute by bike to work everyday, and ride a few kms every weekend so my greasy chains typically get so mucked up from all the dirt/dust/grit it picks up within a few days. This product is perfect for the climate we have here in Abu Dhabi and I’m so glad to have found it here (and on Prime!) Been using it for over a week now and so far I’ve no complaints. The delivery’s really quick as well, might have to order an extra bottle soon.

Easy to wipe off and doesn't attract dust/dirt as much as other dry lubes.

Había estado utilizando aceite 3 en 1 para la transmisión de mi bici y vaya error!, al cambiar a este lubricante me arrepiento de haber usado aceite. Este lubricante es líquido y al engrasar la cadena se hace como cera que supongo que es lo que permite que no recoja tanto polvo lo cual es magnífico. Para mi es perfecto ya que la mayor parte del tiempo uso mi bici en pavimento y si es el caso de llevarla a la montaña igual es estupendo. Cuando es necesario la limpieza y utilizas este lubricante inmediatamente sientes el cambio en la transmisión.

I've been using Finish Line Dry Teflon lube for as long as I can remember on all my bikes. It's become something of a staple in my garage, and for good reason. What I appreciate most about this lube is how it doesn't attract dirt and grime on my mountain bike trails. The formula goes on wet but dries to a wax-like film that keeps the chain running smoothly without becoming a magnet for trail dust. I've tried several other lubes over the years, but they typically resulted in that dreaded "black paste" forming on my drivetrain after just a few rides. With Finish Line Dry, I can get about 100 miles of riding before needing to reapply, which is pretty decent for a dry lube. In the summer months when trails are dusty, this stuff really shines - my chain stays remarkably clean compared to when I've used other products. I've found this lube to be surprisingly versatile. It works great on my kid's bike (which gets minimal maintenance but still needs to function properly). I've also used it on brake cable lines to keep them moving smoothly, and even for squeaky door hinges around the house. The small bottle is easy to store and lasts quite a while. One thing to note - the bottle opening is a bit wide, so it's easy to apply too much if you're not careful. I've learned to be gentle with the squeeze to avoid waste. I typically clean my chain first, apply the lube to each link while rotating the pedals backward, let it sit for a few minutes, then wipe off the excess. This routine has served me well. Is it perfect? No. If you ride in wet conditions frequently, you'll need to reapply more often. And yes, there are fancier lubes on the market now with ceramic compounds and whatnot. But for everyday riding and maintenance, Finish Line Dry Teflon lube remains my go-to. It's affordable, effective, and doesn't complicate what should be a simple maintenance task. After all these years, I still haven't found a compelling reason to switch to anything else. For a reliable chain lube that keeps things running smoothly without creating a mess, this one's hard to beat.

I have used this for our bike chains, but I have also lubed other things around the house. It got a rust stiff gate hinge to start moving again!! So this stuff is great. Great customer service (first bottle arrived leaking, but they quickly sent a second one that arrived in great condition, thank you!)
