I never thought I'd have a skin polisher that was so gentle, it was possible to actually use on a daily basis. However, this Image Skincare Ormedic Balancing Gel Polisher is meant to be used daily. My skin is sensitive, and would normally react to something that requires manual exfoliating (however gentle). This, on the other hand, I've been using for about a month now, and within the first few days, I was extremely impressed.The directions are to gently rub in a circular motion on the face after cleansing the skin, for a full minute to two minutes. That seemed like a long time, but I did it. Once I rinsed the polisher off my face, I was surprised to see that my skin looked energized and refreshed. The next morning, my skin appeared renewed and smooth. I've used it every night since. I imagine that lightly exfoliating my skin every night helps the evening moisturizer sink into my skin.This skin polisher is a gel, with a few small exfoliating beads (be aware: NOT that many beads!--just enough to lightly run over the face without irritating it). It feels refreshing and moisturizing; it doesn't irritate or feel like it's stripping off the skin.I love this stuff. I recommend it highly. It has some texture, small green beads, that help with exfoliation but it’s very gentle. This is supposed to be a skin polisher, used on already cleaned skin, so this would be ideal for those who like to double wash (using a normal cleanser first). This does seem like an unnecessary step (if you’ve already cleansed your face) but I can’t deny how nice it feels on the skin. I just like it doesn’t break my sensitive skin out and it smells really good.The product’s tube disburses out too much product if you squeeze too hard, it has a large opening. I felt like 1/8 of the bottle (that's already on the smaller side, like travel size) came out with an unknowingly “normal” squeeze. I couldn’t put the excessive product back into the tube since the cap doesn’t unscrew.This is pricey for a cleanser which is considered a more high end for this price point. However, it does say it's a \"daily polishing gel that provides All-In-One physical exfoliation, acid peeling and enzymatic peeling\" but my skin doesn't feel much of a difference from other cleansers (since the short time I've been using it). For now, I probably would not reorder this over a more affordable cleaner. However, I would use this again (if gifted) since it smells really good and it’s sensitive skin-friendly that leaves my skin feeling refreshed. It's truly a gel that when washed off, leaves your face clean but not dried out at all.The smell is heavenly. It is not perfumey nor does it have an irritating synthetic fragrance smell (I am sensitive to artificial chemical fragrances). It has a soft, fruity scent that smells more natural and subtle, like a fresh cut peach with a spritz of citrus.Overall, I love how this makes my face feel and look and usually, a cleanser is just a cleanser: washes off dirt but that's about it.
