I gave it to my mom as a late Christmas gift and she absolutely loves it ! It looks amazing and came super quick. I wish it came with a booklet or guide for how to but She can’t stop talking about how excited she is to learn. That’s all that matters .

It’s a great item to have , and everyone should have one

I ordered this calligraphy set with a green feather. It's for a costume so I didn't need it to be super functional, but I am pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately the feather is so dark that it looks black. This is still fine for my needs, but beware the product photos are not true to color. The wooden (non-feather) quill is much more comfortable to write with than the feather. The ink actually lasts in the nib for much longer than I expected - I was able to get a couple sentences done with each dip. I will not be storing my pens in the little urn provided, since everything I've read says to NOT put weight on the nib. And I'm not taking the nibs out every time after use. Overall very happy with this set, and am looking forward to using it, despite having only ordered it for cosplay. I ordered this one specifically because it seemed to have the shortest feather pen of any set I can find. The rest are 9-10 inches, but this one is just over 8 inches, as described. The "shield" part of the feather pen is only on one side. This is good because it would be impossible to write with otherwise, but it doesn't look as nice from the back. Will be fine for photos though. :)

Bought this as a birthday gift for my sister. I never know what to get her. I saw this and thought what a cool idea. She loved it and plans to use it often. She has three girls and they are all crafty.. Also bought one for my daughter along with vintage paper, which pairs well with the idea
