Hand Turned Beetle-killed Pine Container with 4 Large Aspen Wood Coasters

This set is made from two species of wood harvested near my workshop in Grand County, CO: an aspen tree killed in a micro-burst storm and a conifer that died from the infestation of the pine bark beetle. Four large hand turned aspen coasters fit in the hand turned pine container that features the silvery grain pattern and natural worm holes distinctive to beetle killed pines. All pieces are sealed with clear polyurethane enhanced with bees wax hand rubbed to a satin sheen. The aspen coasters are 5" diameter X 1/2" thick. The pine container is 6-3/8"" diameter X 2-1/2" tall. The container can be used separately as a decorative cache' pot or small snack bowl. Available for immediate shipment
