Definitely Recommend for students
So I’m the type of person to go with whatever is cheaper, so I usually buy the cheap notebooks. Typically it’s a hate hate relationship because the paper is flimsy and the ink from pens alwayssssss runs through. So when buying these notebooks I didn’t really expect anything more than what I had imagined it would be. I just bought these because why not give it a try and the reviews seemed really good. After using the notebooks for school for 3 weeks already OH MY GOSH I’ll recommend these to everyone. Amazing price for the quality of the product. 1st- I love the separation of the two subjects by a folder pocket. 2nd- you get enough pages for a semester of notes in each subject section. 3rd- let me tell you....this paper is thick and I’ve had noooo problem at all with ink running through. I don’t even see shadows of ink on the other side either.I’d recommend these notebooks to anyone searching for a quality notebook. I’ll definitely keep ordering these as I need them.

Fountain Pen Users Beware.....
This notebook is TOTALLY unsuitable for fountain pen use. It is uncoated and absorbs ink faster than blotting paper. Consequently, the bleed-through is substantial. I think that the website description should include language that lets fountain pen users move on. It would probably be fine for ballpoint or pencil use and, I suppose, it might (in some limited way) help the environment. To be fair, they did make the effort to tuck in the ends of the wire spiral to prevent snagging on clothing, backpacks, etc.. So on that basis I'd have gone with 2 or 3 stars. Until I found out that it is not returnable. Another fact left out of the description. I know, I know, its only 4 bucks. But at some point haven't you ever said, "It's not the money, its the principle"?

Love these notebooks but...
I'm not a "green" type of person by all means, but these are very good notebooks. I've used them for years taking notes. The paper doesn't bleed with ink nor tear easily. Many of my notebooks I've kept past filling them. I use about one per semester and have saved them for the life of my college and graduate career. These notebooks hold the test of time, ware and tear, perfect for in class essay's, notes, general notes at home. They come divided for easy subject matters, pockets in the divisions for papers and lose leaf items. Only thing is that they portray a color here and they don't come the same color, while I did not wish to order red, it was the only one I found, it should have a drop down to choose your color if they send you different colors than shown. I received green, which was much nicer than the red. But I'd have liked a option, I wouldn't have wished to receive a purple one as an example. Nor a black one since I write the year, subjects, etc.Update: Updated to 5 Star (3rd Reorder)So I have decided to update on these, after several reorders (over the last 2 years) the quality is still the same as the original, again there is no picking color but one can't be choosy when the product is simply this good. One thing that makes me come back continually to these is the paper quality. Pens do not bleed, pencils do not smear, and the edges tear easily at the perforation. I've tried several other name brands, 5 Star Notebooks, Staples, etc and none come to the quality of these. The paper comes from sugar cane which makes a thick non-waxy and heavyweight paper that holds up well to the beatings of everyday usage. Will reorder again and again until they are no longer sold.

Best, and pretty much only, notebook for my needs
I don't know why it is near impossible to find a notebook with non-perforated pages, like this one has. Do people normally tear out the pages they write in a notebook, or not mind when they fall out after a couple of months of hard use, like carrying it around taking notes? I _really_ don't get it.Anyway, that's the main reason I buy this notebook. The pages don't fall out. The fact that's it's currently one of the least expensive 9.5x6" notebooks on Amazon is a bonus. Only downside is there are only 70 sheets.

Page Size Difference
I ordered this notebook because I was well satisfied with previous sugarcane notebooks that I used, but was surprised by different page size. Previous 9 1/2 x 6 notebooks provided a a 6" writing area with an additional 1/2' provide to accommodate the holes punched for the spiral binding. The physical width of the page was an actual 6 1/2". With this notebook, the physical page is 6" wide, with 1/2" at the margin used for punched holes for the spiral binding, allowing a 5 1/2" writing area. This was unexpected!

Perfect Notebook
Not too much you can say about a notebook, but these particular ones are quite notice. Very sturdy cover and binding. A little on the expensive side, but in my opinion it's worth paying a little extra for something that's made in the USA, eco-friendly, and very high quality. These notebooks check off all three of those boxes.

love love love
I love this little notebook for letter writing. Being one of the last holdouts on actually writing a letter I love the weight of the paper and how it makes my handwriting look better. I wish I really beautiful handwriting but a good pen and good paper can really make a difference. I just love this notebook. I've already bought several more once I received this one.

Enviro-Conscious, Thick Paper, Made in USA
I got the 9.5" X 6" notebook. I use it to write down my thoughts after I finish reading a book (so a reading journal). I think the quality and cost is excellent for what I need.I didn't get a choice in the color. I received an earthy red, which is fine, and at this price it was fine not choosing my color. I'm thrilled that it's made in the USA. I worry about poor working conditions when I buy things from China and places like that.
