Will this fit the 9.5” x 6” AR500 ballistic armor plate?

It probably would. I do not have that kind of plate, so use this for holding odds and ends under the plate carrier, but I suppose you could fit a rectangular plate in it.

What's the patch size?; I'm trying to get one to make it look nice and would like it to cover the whole belcro part.

It's approximately 2 inches tall by 3 inches wide, or about the size of the US flag patch worn on the shoulder of most uniforms.
