Buy handles with adequate screws - these are not long enough and therefore make the whole handle useless. If you can’t attach bolts underneath, what good are handles that will rip right out? Come on guys, they are screws for THIS product! What are you doing? It’s like making a refrigerator with a door that’s too small. On my way to the hardware store to spend more time and money - thanks.Update: I bought new hardware and the handles work great. They just don’t work as is. I spent an additional $7.50, so the price of these handles should either be $3.00, or they need to change the hardware to be adequate. As is, I stand by my low rating. Plenty of other handles on amazon, I hope they’re hardware fits the product for which they are made.

I bought these for solar panels. I built my own solar panels, and they are super lightweight, but also very large. I needed a way to carry them and these handles were the solution. They were the perfect solution at that.The handles are so easy to install. They are super lightweight, which was very important. They are also extremely strong and sturdy. These make grabbing and carrying my solar panels a breeze. They fit in the concept of which I was aiming for , and that was to keep every thing light and low weight.These are very durable and strong handles that will more than likely outlast my panels. They are a great value for the price and I give them 5 stars.

The handles themselves are of good quality, and the built in bungee is a nice bonus. The screws, however, are only long enough to go through the handle material and fit the nut on. Not long enough to put through the kayak! And forget about adding any fender washers or lock washers. I purchased separate 316 stainless screws that were an inch long, plus 316 washers and lock nuts in order to secure these handles to my kayak. One star deducted from the overall rating because of the hardware.

This is a great value for a well-built replacement handle for my Hobie Mirage kayak. The old handle was worn out pretty badly from sun and water so I bought this as a replacement. I am very content with it. I didn't particularly need the extra piece of bungee for my paddle, but I bought it anyway because it never hurts to have extra places to latch down things when you're on the water. Works as advertised, thanks.

I installed my too close to the top lip so now it pinches my skin and fingers in between.
