Beautiful sterling silver and adventurine earrings. I just love how these earrings turned out! Especially the contrast of the oxidized silver and the green of these gemstones. I have handmade these earrings by cutting out disc from a sheet of sterling silver the disc then were domed and then the sterling bezels for the gemstones were soldered on. I made the ear wires using sterling silver wire which I heated and balled the ends and then hammered flat and forged and shaped. I then set the adventurine and gave the dome a nice dark finish to make the color of the gemstones pop! I am sure I will be making many more of these earrings with some other gemstones.
