My harness is great, especially for the price; good, thick leather, sturdy buckles, solid rivets. I don’t know how it would hold up to every day carry in a zombie apocalypse, but it fits my tachi well and does a great job when my sword is not in its display. I’ll probably get more.

The harness is very strong and durable. it fits my katanas, bokkens, and ninja swords. However it is not made for short people. Im around 5'3. I did find many ways to fixt it without taking away from the quality. It is very good! The price was really great too! I recommend this to anyone oveer 5'5, unless you are like me and can find ways to make it fit, without breaking it(which is VERY hard to do) or taking away from the value. It is also adjustable so that is a plus+! This is a great item, just be aware of your size and the harnesses size.Great Item!

This item is p-leather or faux leather but works well best to use a duck tape on spot where the strap is connected together so that the rivet doesn't pull apart from the strap but for the price is great will more than likely buy more thanks.

I used this on my claymore (3inch width 4 in sheath). This season of the fair I used it a total of 3 times and it did the job. Though I had to widen the strap with additional leather for the large sword because a half inch strap with a 14lb sword is not fun. the part that grabs the sheath of the sword is very nice, but the shoulder strap has taken quite a beating with only 3 uses. All in all this strap is very good for the price payed but if you want a fancy leather sheath id go spend 80$ at a leather worker inside a fair or commission a piece for higher quality.

I don't know what I was expecting. Wait... yes I do... I was expecting to be able to strap my sword comfortably to my back. No such luck. Cheaply made. Needs more holes to allow a tighter fit. Not for people with a shorter stature. The title to this review says it all. I wish I'd done more research. Ultimately, a youtube video taught me how to use the kurigata on the saya. With some paracord (the sageo was too short), I was able to strap my katana directly to my back. This product cost me $14.99. I'd rather have used the money to put gas in my car. Would've been much more useful. Skip this product. It's not worth it.

Very well made product, thick leather as stated by other reviews people less than 5'6 and and depending on body frame type might have to do some adjustments but United Cutlery does make a good product here sold by Anytime Blades..I know some people complain that the leather is thin or dried out but the one i got from Anytime Blades is neither cheap made nor crap, remember you get what you pay for you buy cheap you get cheap. Make sure it is stamped United Cutlery on the sheath otherwise you are getting some made in China knock off (United Cutlery is sold in the USA). This product does fit Japanese samurai katana saya.

Just a brief review here. It seems sturdy and holds a sword well. It is fully adjustable, you can change the tightness of the body strap as well as adjust the sword straps to fit your scabbard. It is definitely geared more towards a full size sword (the sword I'm using is a 40" katana), but don't think you'll be able to draw from this position. I knew that would most likely be the case when I got it, because unless you have freakishly long arms it's just not going to happen. I basically got it as part of an overall costume, so if I have to draw it for photos then I'd need to swing the sword around to the front and draw from there.
