As always, Uncle Mike comes through with top notch products! The design is good, construction is solid ... although finish could use a little work as screw threads aren't always smooth or predictable. I recommend these for slinging your rifle. I have slung three [3] rifles thus far and am pleased.

I purchased Uncle Mike's Quick Detachable Magnum Band Sling Swivels (1"). The barrel split rings were snug but movable by hand on my old Ithica model 37 upon first installation. I used a scrap of bicycle inner tube to make a "spacer" and it was good to go. As far as the screws go, I had read about issues, which I did not experience. I did install the hollow set screw by hand first and then the Allen set screw via wrench, making sure to seat the wrench COMPLETELY before applying pressure. Still need a shoulder strap so nothing more to say until I can field test but the hardware sure seems sufficient for it's purpose.

I have 2 savage 16 ga single barrel shotguns. I had tried the ones uncle mikes recommended for the 16ga. but I was not real happy with the fit. so I decided to try the ones recommended for the 12ga. these fit a lot better! now, my guns are old, have no serial number that shows how old they are, so the newer guns it may be that the 16ga recommendations fit those better. as for the bad feedbacks some people are giving? I tighten the allen first and just snug!!! not over tightened!! then use a flat screwdriver that the blade fits, not sloppy and tighten to suit from there. and there again, don't overtighten, it is not necessary. worked on my guns anyway, hope this helps.

This product solves the conundrum of attaching a sling to the barrel. However you will probably need that gun tight stuff or whatever to seal it on there, otherwise shooting seems to move it up the barrel and slinging it maybe twists it too. Also the directions can be confusing. There are fiur screw holes which appear mismatched and some little hollow screw thingy as well, which can result in wtf frustration and stripping the actual screw. HOWEVER, for a basic install just use the given screw on the holes nearest to the barrel, stick it through the big hole and screw it into the small hole. Then it works more or less perfectly.

The mount may fit your barrel, but there is absolutely no clamping force. Mount slides up and down the tube due to the extremely light clamping pressure. Screws are short and cheap, not allowing any real torque. You shouldn't have to place rubber under these to prevent them from sliding. Go for a 1 piece band instead of this janky 2 piece clamp. I should have known better since this is an Uncle Mike's product......returned

I bought this rig for a older Sears Model 200 12 gauge pump. It’s a great gun and basically its a Winchester 1300 12 gauge. It fit perfectly on the barrel just ahead of the forward stock. I followed instructions on how to install the shoulder stock screw mount. I did add a very small amount of marine epoxy to the screw to seal the wood permanently. I would buy this again and recommend to a friend. The swivels are a little lightweight but I am only using it to throw over my shoulder on longer walks into the hunting area. So far it’s working exactly for I needed it for.

I was looking for an adaptor of some sort to fit a rifle sling on my Weihrauch HW98 air rifle as it is a little on the heavy side. Found this eventually and it works perfect for the barrel end! Am very satisfied now that it is a little easier to cart around my rifle more comfortably. Recommend to anyone with an HW98.
